Economical on pocket, great food in the heart of city with a comfortable stay at the fern hotel. Open terrace and the view of city’s famous begumpet area and the majestic husaain sagar lake is great. Nice calm place to have drinks with friends and colleagues.Cheers
Disgusting bunch of lethargic cheaters. Visit this place only if you like getting cheated.Firstly, look at the menu. It doesn’t mention two of vodkas: Absolut and Ketel One. How can a hotel bar sell something that’s not listed on the menu. The Smirnoff (vodka) costed Rs.110 for 30ml and the bar manager informed that Absolut would cost Rs.40-50 more per peg than the Absolut, which should make it to 150-160. When our liquor bill was presented, it costed Rs.225 for each 30ml of Absolut. This is double the cost of Smirnoff for each 30ml. Ketle One price wasn’t mentioned to us while ordering. The bottle was only showed to us and informed as Russian Imported. Seriously get your ethics straight people. I can go to a 5 start property and get cheaper rates than this ghetto hotel. The bar manager says, we are getting a new menu. When??? For NYE 2029????? At least write with pencil on the menu, that the Absolut and Ketle One cost so much. Don’t give wrong estimation to the customer and force them to pay hefty prices because you only intend to CHEAT the customer. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Secondly, we ordered Veg Biryani which took 35 mins to arrive, only after repeated follow up!! The raita was curdled, for which the chef gave a dump explanation that due to adding pepper powder and pudina, the taste has become so. Then why hasn’t the chef changed the raita when complained. Because the chef himself knows that the yogurt is screwed up. The service is all slack and lethargic.Exception to the Liquor works splendid ambience, rest everything is failure at this property. Mr. Shabbir Ahmed, please bother to rectify this and contact me for more upsetting details. Santhosh handled our order and we are totally upset and dissatisfied.

We had a pint of beer each sadly they had only kingfishers and followed it up with one peg of Captain Morgan which was really strong. We ordered fish fry and an egg dish and the best thing is you’re served at the rooftop overlooking the Hussain Sagar. After a busy day and sleepless exam nights what more do you need than a chilling beer overlooking the city and the pristine water. Good setting.
