Rating this star hotel a 3.5 for the following reasons: a very dull environment with no crowd (zero crowd) however the ambience was good since it was poolside. Coming to the food ordered paya soup to begin with but it was not available, hence had to go with manchow soup which was decent (4/5) and then for starters ordered Shahi Gilawati ke Kebab and it was an absolute delight (5/5) for the main course ordered chicken dum biryani – tasted good (3/5) but had burnt rice in it and that was a bit disappointing for a star hotel.
We were staying in the same hotel and so chose this restaurant and did not regret the decision after all. We were given a specially set up table by the pool side in the open. With light breeze blowing and candles lit, the ambience was just the perfect for a relaxing, fine dine experience. Expectedly, the staff was courteous and also accommodated all the requests for our food preferences. The tasty food perfectly complemented the ambience. Do try the Lachedar Aloo and Dewani Handi.
I visited last Sunday with my husband to this pool side restaurant, decent staff, nice food but very hot, cant blame the restaurant but yes too sticky and bad climate/weather.Subham was very kind and generous.Need to look after employees grooming especially servers when they serve they shouldn’t smell bad.Its a big off for a person dining.Table cloth was torn .. few things to keep in mind.
The menu isn’t too big with hardly 4-5 dishes in each category. The galouti kebab were soft and tender but a little overpowered by cardamom flavour, the mutton Biryani was good with tender meat and perfectly flavoured rice. The blueberry cheesecake, as suggested by the staff was alright, nothing too great.Overall a good experience with extremely professional and pleasing staff, the menu and food can be improved.
The food is quite decent. We had a buffet dinner that included Italian tomato soup and Oriental hot and sour, pasta salad, paneer masala, mix veg, rajma-rice, palak paneer and choice of bread. The dessert includded mix fruit custard and ice-cream. The staff is quick and friendly.
Overall a good place to visit, food was not very good but not bad either, the staff was very friendly and took our order precisely, a place to visit with your loved ones for sure.
