Exactly opposite to alpha hotel petrol pump you will find ths hotel..It has a tea section with snacks and in the food section you will have chinese..Tea is really tasty and authentic true hyderabi chai we call as..Osmania buiscuit and samosas are a good combo with tea..A good place for tea and quick bites..
Being located in the area filled up with eateries, this does not need a review per se. But my experience compels me to write one so. I had an urge for biriyani that day, when I crossed the great Paradise at Begumpet, Hyderabad. But to my hard times I had very less greens in my wallet and fierce appetite for mughal food. So I had to settle for somewhere far less splurge but far more affordable. I got down at Secunderabad railway station and started looking for such a place. There it was in big letters- Hyderabdi Dum Biriyani. The name of the place was shadowed (not literally) by its offerings. I was anxious and went in. The place was dark even though there was full openings at two of the sides. At one side there were bakery products and another side for sun tan (That may be a joke).I would not say anything about the ambiance. If I say it was bad, then it would be an overstatement. There was no menu exactly as it was dangling in front on a wall just 5 inches behind where people were eating. Also nowhere the price was visible. Only thing that was visible to my eyes was CHICKEN BIRIYANI Rs 90. As I came for the same, I didn’t bother to order anything else. I took a seat over an odd looking granite table tilted as if someone tried to get out of his seat in a hurry. My order was served. Even for 90 bucks, I’d say it was not worth it. It was no way near to the name of the dish. The rice was undercooked and bland. The single chicken piece was absent the spiced marination. The raita at the side was so sour, my teeth had a calling. But as I can never survive without it, I had to take it. Even at that situation the raita was better than the rice. And they gave Mirchi Ka Salan too. Even that dish was horrible. The condiments used like coconut extracts from age old. How the signature dish of a place can be so wrong in the Biriyani City!That place is a big na na for me. I’d rather try even the road side stall further on, but never at Zee Point Cafe.Ambiance- 1/5Food- 1/5Service- 3/5VFM- 2/5 (Even this is a stretch, but if you are looking for a full stomach rather than satisfied, this would go up till 4)
