Ordered Aloo Tikki sandwich from this place. Packaging was good. The sandwich came along with sauce. It was a club sandwich with blob of burger sauce, too much of shredded cabbage and pieces of aloo tikki in between the layers. The cabbage gave crunchy texture and the spicyness came from tikki’s jalapenos. Overall it was an okay sandwich where it will fill your stomach but at the end you wont crave for more. It wasn’t great nor bad though.
I regret ordering spinach corn sandwich which does not have neither spinach nor corn. Instead they added dried corn. How am I supposed to eat dried corn.
Located in student friendly area surrounded by many colleges and schools (Kamala Nagar, ECIL) the concept of this cafe is to make meals student friendly. Totally love this concept, someone has finally thought about common man. I mean, come on, how much does a cappuccino or cheese balls cost you in popular cafes? Two items are enough to cost over 500 rupees. The Happening Episode emphathises to a common man’s wish, the desire to eat so called modern millennial food and trust me the taste of food is equal to other cafes like coffee cup, second cup, etc.Have ordered chicken cheese balls and man they’re awesome. Hakka noodles are ok. They customise food based on user needs. Cafe frappe is my personal favourite from here. Could actually feel authentic coffee smell and divine taste.As the place is new they’re open to suggestions and I’m sure they’d totally nail it with coming suggestions. The owner has also given a word that coming forth discounts will be provided to students who show student is cards or similar proof.Ambience: as of now it’s a cute lil place with calm ambience. Outdoor seating is ok and that’s the smoking zone as well. They’re ready to expand once user base is set.A must visit place for food.
