Mandi has been on my list since long and wanted to have it from an authentic one. So, chose to visit this place @Shantinagar, Masab Tank. Ordered for a chicken mandi with extra portion of faham and also a fish mandi for four of us. I must say that the chicken pieces and the fish piece were satisfactory and all of us liked it. And I felt that the rice I had was bland and little less on salt. On a positive note, it wasn’t greasy. As this was my first experience with mandi, I treat myself as an amateur at tasting it. But certainly loved the experience here especially the hospitality shown my a man with a stained teeth. Only regret was this, I didn’t ask them why they have charged me a ₹20/- extra; which I didn’t bother to ask. I suppose probably due my card payment. Rest all went fine and probably I shall try other Mandi places before revisiting this place. My take on this place is go only if you have no choice, else you may try other restaurants on the other side of the main road.
