Visited here with lot of them recommending this place as it’s an iconic restaurant known for Biryani. I went with a lot of expectations for authenticity in Hyderabadi Biryani but it turned out to be similar to what is available in Bangalore. There was a wait time of about 15 mins even in the evening.Tried special chicken Biryani that came with one boiled egg and 3 tiny chicken 65, taste wise it was good medium spicy. Nothing extraordinary is what i can say.We also tried double ka meetha that was average too.I would recommend you go for Chicken Biryani as special one with egg and chicken 65 is worth skipping.
Had chicken Biryani and mutton biryani.the down side of this restaurant is they don’t offer the mini biryanis here.so you had to go with regular size. The chicken Biryani is simply superb.the mashala they marinated around chichen piece is very Hyderabadi flavour and the aroma simply salivates you.go for it without any hesitation.remember to order chicken Biryani always with double mashala. The mutton Biryani though is a disappointment.the Biryani is very dry and flavour is also not so satisfying.
Went with friends post 11:30 pm ordered grill chicken with rum Ali roti and then ordered one veg fried rice and chicken buryani the food was good and value for money
Went here on the same day when marathoning Biryanis. This place will definitely not let you down at all. I must say their fish biryanis are unusual to find. Although many of my foodie friends love Mutton Biryani here but I would still personally recommend their Fish. Something that let me down here was No eggs in the biryani. I had done enough research and checked enough images of their biryanis before being there. Almost every biryani image had an egg in it but mine didn’t.
fried prawns, mutton biryani (double masala) and paneer butter masala in veg are a must try. fried prawns are crispy and gratifying. rumali roti with paneer butter masala is the best combo
If you were surprised by the restaurants high rating don’t be. The place may have a normal ambience, devoid of anything fancy, but that is because their focus is on the quality of the food. Fast service ensures that the biryani is on your table within 5-10 mins, and the quantity can make 2 heavy eaters burst at their seams. The rice is lightly spiced but flavoursome, the chicken is tender, and the Mirchi ka salan doesn’t overpower the base taste of the biryani. The two desserts, Double ka Meetha and Kurbaani ka meetha (with ice cream) are the perfect way to end your meal and can give you a sugar overdose of the right kind (or maybe not for some :P). Overall an absolute feast and a must visit (do go there empty stomach and leave without any guilt)
