Cones, also called as Chimneys , are made from the scratch at Budapest. They have about 15+ diffrent sort of savoury cones and my personal favourite one’s are Butter Chicken and Spicy Italiana. The cones are super soft and tastes delicious. When placing your order, make sure you tell them not to fill the stuffing till the tip because you’ would not wanna look like a messy eater! My favourite part of this place is their desserts , definitely do checkout the red velvet & dark knight cones. I’m going back for their desserts for sure!Overall Rating: 34/5
A different kind of food I tasted other day at Budapest. The best part of the restaurant was those chimney cones on which they serve. They’re freshly baked on order and too soft which varieties of cones depending the order. Coming the stuffing they put. I personally liked Mac and cheese , chicken keema and spicy Italian in savouries. Even the garlic bread was different it was very thin which made it easy to eat and was delicious served with varieties of dips available. The best part of the place were desserts. All desserts which we tasted were good. They had the soft gelato on the top and bottom was filled with either white chocolate or dark chocolate depending on the order again. The dessert cone coated with the crumbs of cakes or biscuits which made it delicious even without the gelato in it. I personally liked Moccacino , Red Velvet and dark knight. The pricing is also very reasonable approximately 600rs for two including the desserts and the savouries.

Chimney Cone is a food concept that originated in Hungary used for its classic Kürtőskalács. It’s made from sweet yeast and spun around in the shape of a cone customised for its sweet or savoury fillings.The Budapest Bakehouse has opened its brach in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad and has embraced this concept with a twist of taste. Quintessentially famous for their. sweet cones, they have started making headwinds with their savoury cones too. They have also started their Meal Combo where the savoury cones are paired with a Mojito and Fries at steal away prices.We were invited for a blogger’s tasting table and the review for the session is as follows:Chimney Cones:The ‘Dark Knight’ flavor has a soft cone stuffed with brownie cake, ice cream on top and brownie pieces all over it. The ‘Berrylicious’ had creamy vanilla ice cream drizzled over with raspberry reduction.The ‘Butterscotch’ had the sweet caramel flavour that was amazing. The ‘Oreo’ has broken pieces of oreo biscuits paired with half chocolate and half vanilla ice cream that was delectable.Savoury Chimneys:’Spicy Italian’ and ‘Carne Mexicana”Mama Mayo Chicken’ was my favourite as the classic mayo had an interesting twist with fresh jalapeños and herbs.’Nawabi Chicken’, ‘Butter Chicken’ and ‘Chicken Keema’ were authentic and worth a try. Mac and Cheese was my favourite with the creamy cheesy macaroni stole my heart. ‘Hot Cottage’ was a vegetarian’s delight.Savoury Chimney Cakes:The ‘Garlic and Cheese’ and ‘Peri Peri Paneer’ were an exotic twist to the chimneys loaded with finely smoked red chillies and baked to perfection.Beverages and Shakes:The place also serves a wide varieties of refreshing mojitos and milkshakes. In Budapest (Capital of Hungary) there’s a very famous Street food Snack called as Kurtoskalacs. The base is Shaped in a chimney which is a savoury cone made of Maida, Seasoning with Herbs, chilli flakes and more. It’s baked till it gets a crunchy texture to it. There are multiple other savoury gravies added into the cone. We visited few days back with bunch of friends and really wanted to try this out as we heard a lot about it.It’s quite a small place with few tables, neat and clean. With good music Background and cool atmosphere.The many flavours in the menu and were confused what to start with, so we asked the management and they suggested the ones which are quite popular and Recommended.Butter Chicken: The come was So crunchy and Yumm, butter chicken gravy was absolutely creamy, cheesy, a bit sweet and Delicious. Chicken was soft and tender, goes really good with the cone!Mama’s Chicken Mayo: Pulled chicken in herb mayo and crunchy! Surprisingly a good taste. Absolutely Yumm.Spicy Italian: Tasted just exactly like an Hot Pizza. Herbed chicken with Onions, Capsicum, olives, peppers. The sauce was tangy and spicy too. I suggest adding a bit of cheese here and it will give you mind blowing taste, yet this was amazing.Chicken Kheema: Most Recommended and My Favourite till now. Kheema was so Flavourful, just like how it’s cooked in Hyderabadi hotels / homes. This had extra Spice of Hot spices! Really loved it, Scrumptious one from the menu. Would definitely come back for this here!Nawabi Chicken Seekh: A similar to Chicken Kheema, But this had some Sausages too. Taste wise it was amazing!Vegetarians, Not to worry you’ve got many varities. We tried two different in veg, One was spicy cottage which was brilliant in taste and the other was Mac N Cheese which was truly the best among all. Real Mac N Cheese added inside the cone, gave the Melt in mouth taste. Absolutely stunning and the best one, most recommended from the menu and by me. Excellent in taste.As the savoury Chimneys were amazing, the much awaiting part was Desserts. The originality and Speciality is desserts. The cone are crispy and baked very well with different ingredients and covered with Icing sugar and cinnamon Powder. In this case, fresh ice creams are added inside the cone which is Made in house again! Dark Knight which was more of dark chocolate, pure chocolate lovers can definitely try this out. Oreo needs no Intro, Gives a bit of sour taste. Butterscotch was Outstanding! Sweet and very crunchy, Very yumm! To end the day we finsihed with Berrylicious flavour which was Mild blowing! A very unique taste and Another item to be Recommended from the menu!The best part of this place is, the savoury and Sweet chimney comes are not Cooked and kept aside, it’s freshly made on order and served on tables. All the savoury Chimneys were served very hot, it takes only 10-12 minutes to prepare. Service was quick and staff was humble. They do have online deliveries on Swiggy and Zomato.My only suggestion here is they do change their Sign Board, which is not clearly visible from outside. But to find it easy, you need to cross Cream Stone outlet of Himayat Nagar!Overall experience at Budapest bake house was fantastic, A very unique snack item and something very new in the city. Definitely Recommended to everyone, The prices are very reasonable. Perfect place to sit with your friends and enjoy the Scrumptious Savoury and Dessert Chimneys!

The Budapest Bakehouse opened a new outlet at @sarathcitycapitalmall , Hyderabad. So, if you’re in the mood to have some good nom nom, this is definitely a place you might wanna go! They serve amazing Sweet and Savoury Chimneys.They’ve got an amazing options in both vegetarian and non vegetarian Savoury Chimeys, which have all types of fillings from Paneer to Mac and Cheese to Cajun potatoes to what not! We tried a number of these and found each one just as delicious as the previous one.We absolutely loved the sweet chimmneys, especially the Red Velvet and Tiramisu. Oh, they were heavenly. To add to all the sweetness, they even serve some delicious milkshakes, and our favourite without a doubt was the Tiramisu Milkshake. We craved for another right after we finished our first haha!It might be a bit pricey for the amount they serve, but they definitely deliver in terms of great flavours.Do try it out and let us know which is your favourite one.
