Bawarchi is a famous Biryani place in Hyderabad amongst many others. The restaurant is humongous and huge quantity of Biryani is served on a daily basis. The demand is endless.We ordered a Chicken & a Mutton Biryani. The service is quite quick and the rice portions are huge for the price but they can be little generous with the meat too. The Biryani is light and mildly spiced. The Chicken Biryani was great, pieces were well cooked. The Mutton Biryani was bit dry and the mutton pieces too. The Salan & Raita were okay. The service was good too.As far as ambience is considered, there is need for more lighting.
If you are a foody and especially a biriyani lover, once you are in Hyderabad you must try Bawarchi Biriyani other than paradise Biriyani, this is what I heard from many people. Once I landed in Hyderabad first thing I did was searched for authentic Bawarchi Biriyani and tasted it.Bawarchi Biriyani has a different and unique taste among other hyderabadi biriyani. But to be honest I had tasted better regular biriyanis else where. This is what I felt from my experience. But Bawarchi Biriyani is a one time must try once you are in Hyderabad.
