I liked how the place is tucked away in this nice corner on a roof top. Me and the Missus were the only customers and we had the whole place for ourselves. I loved the subtlety of this place and the wood benches. We ordered the chicken mandi and chopan and I was a little worried the mandi may be oily as has been my previous experience at other places, but that was not the case. The food was perfectly done and lip smacking. Not too greasy and not too dry – just right. The chopan did take some time but it was freshly cooked and absolutely worth the wait. Now the star of the show – the sheer khurma! One of the only places I know in hyderabad that serves sheer khurma and I loved it. Irrespective of the taste, I just love that they have sheer khurma on a daily basis. Our host was hands on and courteous and a pleasure to interact with. Hyderabadi’s really need to embrace this place. I’m certain this is one of the more tastier mandis of Hyderabad!

Would like to order food online from the shop again.

Although Mandi is quite a popular dish all through Hyderabad, for the ones who do not know about it yet, it’s basically a rice dish originating from the Middle East, particularly Yemen. Unlike Biryani, rice is cooked separately and the meat is done separately, that too mostly in Tandoor. One stark difference between the two would be that Mandi is much more subtle as it has less spices. The place itself is a compact establishment and so has a small dining area, able to support at max 40/45 diners. Arguebly one of the best Arabic cuisine restaurant out there.Seating. Food. Everything is wonderful.The price is everybit worth it.It may seem expensive at first. But after you eat its all worth it.
One of the best middle eastern cuisine located near somajiguda region, their Mandi is a unique juicy mandi where you can feel a flavor of mutton inside the rice and Kebabs are just amazing where they are freshly made and the taste of kebabs is just awesome and very delicious.The restaurant is located on the roof top 5th floor with two options on the terrace and a separate family section.I really had a great time at this restaurant and highly recommend to all to give a try & especially families with Kids. Taste – 5/5Ambience -4.5/5Comfort – 4.5/5
