There was no salt in the curry. It did not taste like Nawabi handi at all, there was too much oil with no flavour or taste at all. Highly disappointing.The roti was hard and half baked, iin fact it seemed stale.
I really like the ambience of this place with a jail vibe to it but coming to the food, I was a little disappointed!All the items i’ve tried here weren’t up to the mark and lacked favour.They could definitely improve the quality is what I feel.
The place had got nice interiors which gives you the feeling of jail. The food served is good and portions size is sufficient for 3 people. Ordered dal makhani and malai kofta. Both were good. Also the portions on rice served was sufficient for 3-4 people.Since it’s a pure veg restaurant, suitable for our veggies also.The ground floor serve chat and sweets which also look appealing thought we did not tried those. They also have gol gappe shorts too savour your taste buds.
Hi Fellas, Follow Bornfoodiehyderbad on insta :)I am here again for a review of one of the finest pure vegetarian restaurants in Hyderabad, Kaidi rasoi is a pure veg restaurant in banjara hills. The place is a jail theme-based, and definitely a must-visit with your friends/ gang. the ambiance is good, with shady lightings. The best part about the food I felt was that it had a north Indian taste which is rarely found in south India. It had Marwari, Punjabi flavors, and that was just winning me, what more I could have asked for Its a good place for Team parties/ Family get-togethers.This is all that I had here:- Soups :Almond broccoli soup: I really loved it! It was perfectly creamy for me, Man chow soup: It was a bit spicy for me. So just had one spoon but if you like spicy food then surely you can go for it.Salads: Fattouch Salad:- Nicely presented, it is a healthy option for fitness conscious people.Mix fruit Cabana Salad:- I was luscious and tasty. Starters :Smokey tandoori momos: You can definitely go for it. I loved it (5/5).Live grill: The Kebab sticks were served on upon hot burning charcoal mini barbeque. We had Paneer Tikka, Malai Broccoli, Seekh kebab, Chinese potato, Pineapple. I liked paneer tikka the most, seekh kebab was a little sweet, so I dint like it much but it was okay.Cheese cornball: It was perfect. Delicious indeed!Veg Manchurian: I liked it, but it could have been a little better.Main course :Kadai paneer lazeez: it was one of the most flavourful and mouth-watering paneer I had.Sham Savera kofta: It was succulent. I just loved it! I insist you have it!!Veg Kolhapuri: Mixed veg curry. It was really good!Breads:Laccha Paratha, Garlic naan and , Nanza: pizza + naan = Nanzaaa. It was yumm! This is a jail themed restaurant which serves pure vegetarian. As the title suggests, they used many props to make it as a jail like ambience. This place is divided into two levels. The first level is a proper restaurant and another level is dedicated to sweets and food court. Hey reader ,Khaidi rasoi is a casual dining with the jail theme as the name says it. It located in Banjara Hills. It a 2 stored place which has the desserts in the ground level and the restaurant khaidi rasoi is on the mezzanine level . Ambience at khaidi rasoi is quite interesting . The cabins are made like the cells in jail . Brick Walls, rotten out paints on the walls resemble a jail . It has got a very minimal seating for up to 20-30 people . The place is not much bright . It has dim ceiling lights and frames put up on walls . Place could have been more spacious ..Food :Soups : *broccoli almond soup : thin green soup with boiled broccoli pieces and grated almond . It must have been a bit creamy and thick . *manchow soup : just like any other manchow soup . It was tasty and spicy ..Starters : *Smokey tandoori momos : presentation is very good . The momos were covered with the glass lid which had smoke inside . The momos tasted yummy and perfectly cooked .*live grill : again , presentation of this was interesting . The kebab sticks were served on a basket upon hot burning charcoal . There were pineapple , paneer, potatoes, sweet potato kebabs.*cheese corn ball : it was quite crispy on the outside , inside it was cheesy and filled with flavourful stuff . *veg manchira : soft , crispy and tasty veg manchiria..Main course :*kadai paneer lazeez: it had rich tasty gravy with paneer strips in it . Tasted good .*sham savers kofta : MUST TRYthis has been the best curry which went well with the garlic naan . *veg Kolhapuri : mixed vegetarian curry . Tasted delicious..Breads : soft , crispy and tasty garlic naan , lacha paratha..Nanza: pizza made out of butter naan . It was extremely cheesy. Tasted heavenly ..Rice : *paneer tikka biryani : Flavourful rice , but felt it was little dry and hard . The paneer tikka gravy was tasty .this could have been soft and more delicious..Baked lasagna : it was served with breads , lasagna was cheesy , creamy and full of veggies . Tasted tremoundsly good ..Desserts : *sizzling brownie : tasty .*waffle tacos & assorted Bengali sweet :Presentation for these was amazing . Waffles were served with icecream .
