If you dont want to step out of gvk and have a good andhra meal. this is the only choice you have got. They got our order in less than 10 min. The biryani is worth try here.
This place needs to get more fame as a restaurant for the quality and taste of food they serve. The price of the food here is affordable and worth every penny you spend. Aratikaya fish, bamboo chicken is the best I’ve tasted here.
Tried non veg platter.items were prepared long ago.they just made them hot n served.leg pieces were worst woth burnt top layer as they deep fried them again to serve hot.bamboo chicken dint taste like it is made in bamboo.its just kebab pieces.chilli chicken tasted ok.pot biryanis were the worst part.we tried gongura pot biryani and fried chicken pot biryani.they served same bamboo chicken pieces in fried chicken pot biryani.waste of time and money.better to go restaurant near by so that we can have freshly prepared items atleast even if taste sucks
Never fall for the name again- Came over with family for a quick dinner. The name Gongura pulled us to the counter as we settled for a family size mutton biryani (against my better judgement to go for chicken to go safe) for 460 Rupees.Unfortunately for us though, it was just a lot of dry spicy rice with exactly 6 small pieces of fatty chewy meat pieces. It was one of those experiences when I wonder how do restaurants get away serving such food in Hyderabad. However the two stars are for the speed of service and quantity of rice (not for the meat quantity).
Just stopped by for a quick work lunch and ended up ordering the non-veg thali here (as I’m total sucker for any kind of South Indian meal!). Honestly, I didn’t have very high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The dal, chicken curry, roast chicken and even the egg pulusu were nice and authentic. The puri was soft and not not oily, the gulab jamun was homely. Biryani rice was slightly bland but can be overlooked as everything else was super filling. Will definitely visit again. Service- 4.5/5 (took barely 5 mins to serve the meal)Value for money- 5/5Overall- 4/5
As a fan of ulavacharu and biryani . I decided to order both at one go (ulavacharu chicken kunda biryani) . Presentation- 3.5/5 which is well deserved for something in a food court .Quantity – 4/5 – enough for twoPrice – 4/5 – value buy Taste – 4/5 -this is the main part. Spice aroma of biryani and unique flavor of ulavacharu are fused at their best . My partner and myself talked repeatedly about the dish for days . Really impressed . Will try again without doubt
