Nice cafe. This is the place where regularly plays and music shows are organized. However since this is a very small space it gets too crowded. Also entry being free there are many who drop in just for the heck of it. However a great attraction of the place is its nice food which is dirt cheap. Quality is good and there is ample seating space. So many drop in just for the food. The Khati dal, samosa, egg curry is must try
Had been eagerly waiting to visit this place after having heard a bucket full of reviews about its atmosphere that goes just awe at any time of the day & Lamakaan stood up to all those expectations, no doubt this place has my heart.With the most economically priced menu, they serve authentic Hyderabadi food however my favourite happened to be samosa & chai.So this place is done into three sections, the lower ground where usually the cultural & other literary events are hosted & the main area, over it a terrace that’s totally blanketed with trees – soul satisfying.Probably those who would love not-too-posh-but-close-to-soul places would go head over heels after visiting Lamakaan.It has a got a different vibe.A place that has got a glittery charm that’s beyond than just walls and chandeliers.
Whether it’s a business meetup or a friendly one, either a community meetup or a fun get together, one can organize/participate in these over coffee and snacks with a good ambience at Lamakaan.Lamakaan is basically a bungalow turned into an activity center, where one can organize or maybe find a group meetups of their interests, great place to find the enthusiastic crowd and to socialize.The chai and samosas over here are truly amazing, even the snacks that are available here are priced very reasonably, very economical.Overall it’s a fun place to explore the on going events or even to organise them, need a perfect to pitch in an idea to some folks.. this is the place!!!
Lamakaan is one such place in Hyd, totally dedicated to social events.This small cafe/restraunt is a landmark for the people to conduct their social gatherings.I happened to visit this place on a Sunday for Google local guides meet-up.As it was sunday, the place was crowded.The ambience of this place is very vibrant.Its like getting a seat in someone’s bungalow.They have a stage also in the backyard, which is quite spacious along with the outdoor seating.Basically, this place is always packed with n no. of events taking place back to back.Coming to food, I didn’t taste it but can say the food is typical college canteen style, cheap and best.The rates of the food items are very economical.Probably the next time I would spend more time here.Recommended!!
Ideal place to visit when in group because it is very pocket friendly and with just 200rs each you can fill your stomach. The dahi vada, samosa and bread omelette were best. Nimbu pani could have been better. One of the guy working there was really rude or else this place is solid 5.
It took me four years to try this place and it was just worth the wait loved every bit of it. Was here for a cultural event. Tried their iconic dishes mostly Hyderabadi style. This place holds true for sometimes too little is too big.
