Italian cafe culture is renowned the world over, largely due to the country’s rich history with our savored caffeinated drink. From being the first European power to import coffee beans in the 16th Century to the more modern invention of espresso, Italy has long been a powerhouse in the coffee world. In Rome, cappuccinos are fantastically frothy, and the espresso is always made with quality coffee beans and ground on site. One sip of an Italian coffee, and it will be hard to go back to Starbucks. Many cafes offer full menus, appropriate for both a light snack with coffee or dinner before your evening’s entertainment. Inspired by the Italian street cafe culture, Bonito is a dessert studio situated on the 4th floor of Alcazar Mall at Jubilee Hills. Bonito Dessert studio is the brainchild of Sai Krishna, who many may have seen at Taj Falaknuma’s bar, and a group of partners, this space has that typical sweet smell that most dessert lounges possess. This dessert studio has most of the favorite things needed these days — Instagram-worthy ambiance, all-day breakfast, and most of all some good desserts. The lamp posts, faux windows with a bunch of flower pots and an interesting wall art stating ‘Viva La Vida’ which means Long Live Life, are all something which will instantly transport you back to an Italian or Persian cafe. In addition to a regular seating section, the dessert counter with pink walls and candy-colored seating is really something to look forward to for some really snaps. As you walk towards the back is the counter of doughnuts, cakes, breads and much more – all of them nicely decorated with a well-lit place. Bonito is one of the few places in Hyderabad which makes its croissants perfectly, with airy light flakes to the finished product. You can choose from the savoury cheese variety to the classic, ungarnished one with a delicately buttery aftertaste. The other savories that are really worth trying are Garlic Bread, Spicy Italian Panini & Loaded Toast. We were served these in addition to White Sauce Pasta, Cheese fries, Peri Peri Chicken Burger, all of which were good but could have been better as compared to the market standards & there are many such outlets offering similar savory food. Out of the desserts section, we tried out Very Berry Crepe, Red Velvet Pancake & Fudge Crepe, out of which I liked the pancake as it was one of a kind creation with an almond base, a quite well-thought item. As there are a lot of artisanal coffee places in the city of Hyderabad, the team at Bonito should have their hot beverages stepped up in the game because, in desserts, pairings are everything. Overall, it’s a long way to go for Bonito if they are planning to make a solid place in the dessert market in Hyderabad.
Nestled in the 4th floor of Alcazar Mall, Bonito is a dessert parlour. The whole place is so beautifully done! Each section speaks for itself. This cafe is totally Instaworthy. The chic and artistic decor makes it stand out. I was here for a late lunch with my friends. I tried quite a lot of dishes. Let’s check out!.Caramel Oreo Shake: Creamy texture with chuckes of oreo in it. Tastes super refreshing, however, the consistency was a letdown.Triple Berry: A blast of berries right in the mouth. This was completely a stunner!Hazelnut Coffee: Coffees are bitter. This was too. I loved the bitterness but was struggling to sense the hint of hazelnut in it. It tasted superb anyway.Loaded Toast: Loved it to the core! The topping was totally doing justice to the slight dryness of the bread. Every ingredient in it was complimenting each other!Cheesy Fries: The Crispiness was intact even though we had it after quite a while. Lovely it was!Chocolate Shake: This was just another classic chocolate shake you have in cafes. Tasted great but nothing different.Spicy Italian Panini with Fries: It was loaded with veggies. The texture of bread was different and uplifted the dish. Loved it.Peri-Peri Chicken Burger: Crisp and juicy! Peri-Peri lovers will heart this burger.Very Berry Crepe: Crepe was filled with berry jam and berries. A drizzle of maple syrup completed the dish. The dish was good overall. I just wish the crepe was a little softer.Alfredo Chicken Pasta: MUST TRY! Hands down to the chef. This tasted incredible!Red Velvet Pancakes: Loved it!. The pancakes were cooked to perfection. Maple syrup topped on it made it a complete steal deal. thegluttonjournal.wordpress.com
Yesterday chilling with friends at Bonito Café.Bonito has artistic interiors inspired from the streets of Europe. It is a casual dining, desserts coffee shop. If you are looking for a perfect café to visit with your family and friends then I must recommend you to visit bonito café.When I entered I felt refreshing and it gave me positive vibes. Amazing interiors with flower pots and a nice seating arrangement. I really loved this place. So I started with a cup of Cappuccino as it’s a café so it was compulsory to have coffee. It was a perfect start. Then I ordered garlic bread and loaded toast, both were just amazing then main thing what I loved is garlic bread, it was just yummy and the best garlic bread I had. Then I ordered some shakes Hazelnut coffee, Triple Berry, caramel oreo shake, cookie dough shake and chocolate shake. Hazelnut coffee is the best seller at Bonito café and I assure you that it is the best because the taste of this is refreshing and the flavour of hazelnut was proper and not overloaded. It was really good. Triple berry was the next best shake if you want to try at Bonito. When I took a sip of this I just said wow!Caramel Oreo was best with the combination of Oreo it has done their part very well to make the caramel shake to caramel Oreo shake. Then lastly we ordered cookie dough and chocolate shake, both of which were mouth-watering. All the shakes were just up to the sky. Then we ordered spicy Italian Panini and peri peri chicken burger with cheese fries. Spicy Italian Panini was made with Italian bread and some veggies to give it a healthy touch. It was extraordinary. And if you are a burger lover then you must try it.Then we ordered Alfredo pasta as we all know that the pasta will be good if it was cooked or boiled properly then only it looks delicious and here it was properly boiled and it gives you a perfect look and taste of pasta. Then at last we ordered Blueberry crepe and Red velvet pancake. If you ever tried crepe you know how it is. If anyone has not yet tried then you must visit Bonito and try it. Surely you will fall in love with crepe. Then Red velvet pancake. What should I say about this to Bonito it was just mind-blowing. Really I must recommend you should go one time and try red velvet pancake it was the best dessert of the day.Must try:Garlic breadPastaSpicy Italian PaniniHazelnut coffeeTriple berryRed velvet pancakeP.s : The above review is based on my opinion.
New place alertThe place with nice ambiance and a beautiful relaxing place to spend quality time with family and friends. One of the best cafe with such cozy set up makes you feel home. Now coming to the food they have mostly continental food, coffee, milkshakes and best desserts. We went there with bunch of friends and therefore warmed up their Cappuccino which had the aroma of fresh coffee beans.Few of us setlled for Milkshakes and Fraappes. The KitKat shake was outstanding which is rich and chocolaty and would be best for ppl who love thick Milkshakes. One of the milkshake which has really different texture and has different taste was the cookie dough which had a dough like texture and garnished with chocolate crumbles. For more details follow my insta profile chromejoy22.One of the elegant and classic milkshake was Hazelnut Coffee Milkshake which was smooth and not so thick like other thickmilkskes.Thia were clubbed with cheese garlic bread which was cheesy and had the flavour of garlic and the breads were also of different taste .We settled for their Alfredo Pasta -the sauce was good and garnished with olives made it very tasty and the portion size was also decent for two ppl.The French toast was also nice huge in portion made with decent amount of egg yolk, fried nicely and served with dollop of honey. The BBQ Chicken Burger was brilliant which had the best bun bread I had so far in Hyderabad.Decent amount of chicken stuffing was there with veg stuffing.Seved with French fries and it was filling. The taste was brilliant, chicken was soft and succulent. The Veg Panini was good and has good decent stuffing of cottage cheese .Coming to desserts they have an exclusive section of brullees, cheesecakes, cookies, mud pie cakes ,carrot and Red velvet cake which can be ordered over the counter. We settled for RedVelvet cake one of the best in Hyderabad.Texture wise nice. The Showstopper was their Chocolate smudge Crepes which were brilliant and one of the best crepes I had in long time.Texture wise it had crispyness and was made fresh and served warmWe tried a very different crepe The Spinach crepe which was brilliant and nicely made and came out so nice -crispy,not overtly sweet and had the best taste. After a long time had the best Creme Bruelle which had the caramelized texture on the top and had the soft texture in the bottom.I will recommend this place because of its ambiance, value for money and taste and courteous staff. Not to miss – Chocolate fudge crepe,Creme Brulee,Red Velvet Cake,KitKat Milkshake,Cookie Dough Milkshake,Burgers, Alfredo Pasta#Dessertstudio#Desserts#Milkshakes#Burgers#Pasta
Bonito Dessert studio is one of the newest cafes in Jubilee hills that is very photogenic for something inside a mall. It’s an instagram worthy cafe as far as the ambience goes. It has beautiful corners and little things all over. Coming to the food, I loved the waffles, Italian panini, spanish crepe and the snickers shake.Special mentions to the snickers shake as it was soo thick and good, an absolute delight for the tastebuds. The Alfredo pasta needs a lot of improvement.
Located and ambiance: Located in Alcazar Mall in Jubilee Hills, Road Number 36, this place is very pleasing on the eye. A nice little place which seems to be perfect for college kids or for a formal meeting.Service: The service is very good but a little slow but they know what they are doing. The staff know their menu well.Food: Their main focus appears to be quality with good portion sizes. Everything we had tasted fresh and you could make out the use of fresh ingredients.- 4⭐- 3 ⭐- 5⭐Fudge crepe – 5⭐Spanish crepe – 5⭐French toast – 4⭐Blueberry creme waffle – 5⭐Garlic bread – 4⭐Spicy Italian Panini – 5⭐BBQ chicken bargur – 5⭐Alferado pasta – 4⭐Snikker – 5⭐KitKat – 5⭐Hazelnut coffee – 5⭐Cappuccino – 5⭐True to their name, their strength lies in their desserts.
