This place comes as a breather for Hyderabadis craving for Irani tea in Jubilee Hills. This is a Pakka Old city type cafe that serves some decent snacks! Lukhmi, Osmania biscuits are the one that is worth the mention amongst all their decent servings. The ambience is mass, little unhygienic and is full of people having smoke.
Great place to have authentic Irani Chai- Lemon irani chai or the Pauna Irani chai. One of the few places in Hyderabad where you can have Lukmi. You also have a great variety of bakery items including Osmania biscuits, tie biscuits and dilkush. With open air seating, rock bottom prices and great irani chai experience, this is a must visit cafe

A very average looking place with basic crowd pretty much like an Irani chai hotel but outdoors!We had the lukhmi the Irani chai poori aloo and Osman biscuit. The lukhmi was really nice as compared to the ones I have had, the chai was decent the poori aloo ok ok and the Osman I have had better. The service was not the best and friendliest but what can one expect in an Irani cafe !! The prices were reasonable and lots of things to try from !!In the area I don’t think there are any Irani chai cafes and if you are craving one close to the area you could go to this place.Do remember the ambience is not great to sit out there unless you are with a bunch of guys !! Have a good chai !!
This is just across the street where the British Council Library is in its new location. Basically an Irani chai place, partly indoors and some tables/chairs ‘outside’ ie their patio. Found their puri plate far too oily served with chana curry that was insipid. Tea is the regular Irani fare. Overall a half decent place, if you are really hungry and need a quick bite, and the weather is OK to allow o/s seating.
