Location and ambiance:Located on the busy Jubilee Hills Road Number 36, this place is easy to locate. Now when you have such huge competition, you ought to keep your place special and Insomnia exactly does that. Right from the moment you enter the place, you get the party vibes what with some amazing music playing by the super talented DJ. We opted for the VIP lounge and as the name suggests, it was Royal and gets the attention to detail. This place is two floored and has a bar on both the floors. A perfect party place for sure.Service:Service was prompt and the staff keep taking feedback from time to time. They know their menu and the food well and are quick to provide recommendations when in need. For the entire 4+ hours we were there, service was flawless despite the place being packed on a weekend. A big thanks to the bar team and the service staff who took good care of us.Food:We had a lot of food, some we ordered and some recommended by the staff. I’d suggest people going there to go with the staff recommendations. They were spot-on. Insomnia a place that will leave you wide awake!!Have visited the sister restaurant amnesia a couple of times but always overlooked insomnia assuming it to be a dark and closed space with loud music which I usually do not enjoy, however, on a recent invite have visited this place and my whole perception was changed and this place has won my heart.Insomnia welcomes you with this amazing neon-lit (Tron themed) passage leading you into a two-storied wide and spacious in-doors, we were allotted the VIP lounge which was amazingly live with the neon lights, bar counter and lounge sofas. This place definitely has one of the best indoor audio setups which made the music much more enjoyable, as the music set the tone for our evening the starters and the drinks started flowing in.Among the starters, we have tried the lamb galouti kebab was absolutely succulent and flavourful, next came the popular spicy chicken fingers which were dipped in shot glasses with sauces, again an amazing appetizer with balanced flavours.Dakshin murgh tikka and dilkush paneer tikka were the favourites from the bbq variants of starters which had the nice smoky flavour and spices.with all the amazing starters it was time for the main course and here came the all-time favourite cheesy chicken pepperoni pizza, refer to the images below to see how cheesy was this amazing pizza.we have also ordered the bread basket with chicken chutney wala and mushroom dingri muter curry which complimented each other perfectly.with the amazing food, we had a special DJ playing that night.. a huge shoutout to DJ Kim Thomas for the amazing line of Bollywood hits which made the whole gang dance to the beats and end the weekend on an amazing note!!Overall: 4.5Taste: 4Service: 4Ambience : 4.5Price: 3.5/5’like and hit that follow button and Do not forget to follow on Instagram for some Behind the scenes and fun food journey.
Was there on Sunday evening. Very slow service. We got seated and no one came over with the menus for a good 20 mins.. It was happy hour, so super diluted sugary cocktails which were a huge turn off.. We had ordered a French fries serving which came with cheap tomato ketchup that is used in roadside Chinese stalls. It took a good 30 mins to reach us.. And for some reason they were filling the pub with smoke, the one you get with incense burning to Ward off evil eyes.. Not sure if it was for evil spirits or evil mosquitoes.. Anyways it was very suffocating. Cheap crowd around.. We couldn’t get out fast enough because we had to wait for 20mins for the bill. And a Red Bull costs Rs300 plus taxes, which I felt was super expensive for this place..Ambience -1 Service-1 Food-1 VFM-2
What a happening club this is. Right through the entry everything just lures you in . We were seated in the VIP box which is upstairs basically and crowd was great too . Would like to visit again for the food .
This place was lit.You can visit this place even on the week days.The food quality was good and you can use Zomato gold here.Better to go with Advance booking on Zomato to get VIP lounge.Prices were not high, just moderate.
