Been to this place for lunch. Had tomato soup, paneer starter. They tasted good. Veg biryani was too good, just loved it. Quantity along with the quality. Wanna come over here to taste other dishes once again.
Kaffe gardenia is one the few places serving fantastic vegetarian food. This amazing place in Banjara Hills has a vibrant ambience with quaint peaceful atmosphere. It has both indoor and outdoor seating accommodating upto 60-70 people at once. I always wanted to dine at this place and finally was at this place with a group of foodie friends of mine for lunch. The complete restaurant is decorated with artificial green leaves with beautiful corners. The green were a soothing view and also gives you a pleasant vibe to dine with family/friends.Food:Manchow soup:This soup was served hot and was colourful with lots of veggies making it look appealing. This thick, flavourful and spicy soup was served with crispy deep fried noodles with taste soothing the taste buds.Khaala khata mojito:Khaala khata being a very famous ice gola is a mocktail at this place. The mojito looked fascinating and gave us a great mouth feel which was refreshing enough.Veg pakora:The veg pakora was a unique variation from the regular one. These crispy pakora balls are a good snack item. They were soft inside with a flavourful pack of mashed veggies which was served with chutney which made it extra tasty.Dal pakwaan :This dish was a combination of crispy puri with chaana dal ,sweet chutney and onion.Dal pakwaan being a very popular Sindhi dish was just amazing at this place and is a must try.Paneer lababdar:Paneer lababdar was a mind blowing paneer curry with soft and succulent paneer in creamy and delicious gravy was a fantastic one with Indian breads.Dal makhani:This is another dish which goes well with Indian breads. The dish had a pleasant aroma with extremely creamy gravy which is a must try at this place.Falooda kulfi:Falooda and kulfi being my favourite desert were fused to make an innovative dish. The combination of these both had a distinctive taste. This is a must try. This is wonderful meal was ended with a pleasant filter coffee.Do visit this amazing place!!!
Located beside Japanese Garden at Road No. 2, Banjara Hills, ‘Kaffe Gardenia’ is a pure vegetarian restaurant that dishes out Indian and Chinese cuisines!AMBIENCEThe interiors of the restaurant are mostly done in green with faux leaves/fruits and fancy chandeliers suspended from the black painted ceiling! Resembling an indoor garden set up, the place has a regular style seating with every table flaunting pastel coloured glass bottles, simply spicing up the aesthetics! It isn’t very spacious, yet can accommodate about 80 pax at once. They’ve a mini outdoor section as well.FOODI was here with my friends yesterday for lunch and we tried the following,* Veg manchow soup- Assorted veggies & crisp fried noodles in a soup! The broth was light and comforting, yet flavoursome with chinese sauces. ( 5/5 )* Veg pakoda- Minced veggies shaped into balls are coated with flour batter and deep fried to perfection! The outer layer was crunchy and the filling was truly delicious. When paired with the sauce, It was simply an outburst of flavours. ( 5/5 )* Dal pakhwan- Fried breads are served along with dal, onions and two chutneys( green & sweet ). The breads were fresh, crispy & flaky and the dal was so homely with a hint of ghee. I would highly recommend this Sindhi delicacy. ( 5/5 )* Rotis/ curries- So, we’ve tried Naans with two curries- Paneer lababdar( 5/5 ) & Dal makhani( 4/5 ). I would highly recommend the former which was rich, creamy and lip smacking. Although Dal makhani tasted homely with decent bits of raajma, It was a little runny in consistency.* Veg kheema biryani- Another hit dish! Served with raitha and gravy, the rice was perfectly cooked, aromatic and truly rich in flavours. Must try! ( 5/5 )DESSERTSSo, we’ve tried their Kulfi falooda( 5/5 ) and Tall beauty( 4/5 ) and I honestly loved the two! Do not miss out on the former, whatsoever. The staff are very polite and courteous!VFM- 5/5; Service- 5/5
