Pita pit is QSR chain that has been providing healthy alternatives to the typical fast food available in the market . You can customise your own pita bread with your choice of vegetable , sauces and even the type of cheese you want . Recently I visited this Jubilee Hills outlet and tried some of their amazing dishes . …Chipotle potato salad was amazing and bbq chicken salad was a bit too sweet for me . Pita bread with chicken filling was another healthy option. Then we had basil pesto chicken . Another exotic flavours . Chicken shawarma I had was the best of the lot . Thoroughly enjoyed it . All in all a great place to enjoy healthy dishes .
Lying on Road no.36 is Pita Pit, a small grab n go kinda restaurant that has good ambience and is also appealing to all the fitness freaks out there who look out for taste and calories as well.Pita pit is originally a Canadian brand that has opened up it’s franchises recently in India and growing slowly. The cold coffee is just as thick as it should be and hits you right with the coffee notes whereas, the lemonade is okay-ish.The falafel pita and the basil pesto chicken pita are good over here.Coming to salads, they have a very wide range of salads that satisfy any kind of a palate. The Harrisa chicken salad was my favourite, I’ve also tried the BBQ paneer salad which had excess of sauces in it and the chicken crave salad which was perfect. This is the go to restaurant, if you’re looking for a quick bite in and around jubilee hills.

Amidst all the pubs and restro bars of jubilee hills stands this bite sized restaurant serving healthy food to people looking to cut calories.So.. If you are craving restaurant food but also trying to eat healthy, give this place a try.I have been here for a food tasting session. We started with Basil Pesto Paneer Wrap and Paneer Shawarma and a veggie rice bowl, followed by Burrito Chicken and Shawarma Chicken, then tomato basil soup and Cream soup with chicken(baked pita served on the side). The beverages, especially the cold coffee, stole the show.Dessert options are very limited here- there is only banana nutella pita. (Personally, I would have liked some more options to gorge on guilt free). The staff is very courteous and they will help you choose from the variety of fillings that this place provides.Do give this place a try!!!!!!!
Fast paced lives need fast paced food and that’s what pita pit does best. Clean, healthy, tasty, no fuss food – exactly what the robots of the city need! Sharing space with an ice-cream joint, the place is well lit and clean. The decor is minimalistic. With a wide range of options available, they have something for everyone. The best part about their menu is the level of customization it offers. Playing around with flavors and ingredients is now in your own hands! The menu is very cleverly built. You can choose a few ingredients and then choose to either make it a wrap/salad/rice bowl. We started our dinner with a couple of soups and boy were they belly warming! The vegetarians got a tomato carrot beetroot basil soup that was tangy and refreshing whereas the non-vegetarians got a cream of chicken and mushroom soup that was fabulous! Delicately flavored with the rustic earthiness of the mushrooms and chunky bits of chicken, this soup is a must try!The breads for the wraps are freshly sourced everyday and steamed before the fillings go in to give it the perfect hydration. They are then grilled as per your liking. We tried a variety of wraps and the Basil pesto chicken wrap in the carnivore section and the falafel wrap in the herbivore section were my top picks. The hummus and other sauces are very well made and offer some really great flavors to the wraps. Few wraps had an overwhelming taste of cabbage though. We also picked a couple of rice bowls – harissa paneer and chicken crave. Both the bowls come in generous portions and taste super healthy. Made with raw veggies, brown rice and a protein of your choice, they are super filling. The veg bowl for some reason gave me a slightly bitter after taste but the chicken one was delicious. We also washed these down with a cool lemonade and cold coffee. Both the drinks were very well made. The lemonade is equally priced with the cold coffee which is a tad surprising. We ended the healthy food journey with a nutella banana wrap. Again, a very filling wrap with a generous amount of nutella. The only drawback I found in this was that the bread was super chewy. Must’ve been a bad one since the bread on the other wraps was just fine.Overall, with a great concept and competitive pricing, pita pit has surely grabbed my attention to revisit. Service is quick. Apart from a few hiccups, I didn’t notice any major improvement areas. Healthy, hearty, nutritious, fast and easy on the pocket – what else could one ask for?!
