Three of us landed here for a bite to eat last evening. This cafe located inside a food store is a fairly decent space but could definitely do with a little maintenance. The seating was not the most comfort though. The menu was comprehensive and were spoilt for choice. Finally we narrowed everything down and ordered loaded potato skins, veggie sliders, chilli cheese toast and a two egg omelet. The omelet came first and was fresh, loaded with all goodness and very tasty. After a gap came the potato skins which were too spicy and Indianised for my liking. The veggie sliders came next with some potato wedges which was all good. The serving size is ample. Then started the wait for the chilli cheese toast. We even had to remind the waiter about before it made an appearance. Then had to be sent back as it was hardly grilled. Anyway, the final result was not the wait. Overall the food was decent and if in the vicinity may go back again.

They have an outdoor area as well which is smoke friendly. We went on a weekday for lunch but past 2 and the place got surprisingly crowded. Coming to food, was utterly disappointed. The service was slow, too. We ordered crispy non veg platter which was below average. The prawns weren’t upto the mark. Next we ordered brownie tower in desserts which was also okayish. Just a brownie and a scoop of icecream. Shakes, we ordered Oreo and mango & blueberry which were alright. Overall, the food was pretty average and expensive. Aura cafe has got some good ambience. I loved the color combination of the interiors. I ordered Nasi goreng and pink sauce penne pasta for dinner. I loved the spices that were added in pasta. I also ordered in some bichamel white sauce seperately which was so well made. Nasi goreng was alright as it was a little spicy for me. I must give 9/10 for the presentation of food! The macaroons and karak chai was for the dessert. The chai was tasty and went well with macaroons. The staff was lovely at aura cafe. They were very friendly and courteous hence I loved their services.

This cafe has been getting rave reviews on their premium imported ingredients sourced with high-quality inspections and I was invited by the city’s hot and happening, masters in making curated dining experiences Gourmet Passport to try out their revamped menu by their regional host Shivani Mohan.Aura cafe Owner Shashank took time to explain the ideology behind the menu changes, ideation aspects and much more on what all they have recently added including herbal and medicinal based ingredients into many of their dishes including ashwagandha powder, charcoal powder and much more. Chef Chefsunil Sunkavalli headed this blogger table and was instrumental in delivering a steady pace of such delicious and interesting dishes. I know most of the dishes were simply delicious, but then I had to pick a few as they were completely WOWDE-CONSTRUCTED SOBA NOODLES SOUPDE-CONSTRUCTED MEXICAN CHILLI BEAN SOUPKALE, FETA & WATERMELON SALADSMOKED CHICKEN & APPLE SALADMIDDLE EASTERN SAMPLERCRISPY CHICKEN WINGSCOLUMBIAN STYLE ROASTED CHICKEN WITH RICEFrom the desserts, pretty much everything was on the point and didn’t leave a disappointing tone. I personally loved the CHOCOLATE BOMB MOUSSE & CARAMEL. The inhouse macarons & Brownie tower with ice cream were both good but could have been better. With a prompt service headed by Mr. Ganga and his team, I couldn’t have had a better lunch than this in this entire year.Gourmet Passport continues its trend of making brilliant curated dining experiences & Masterclass sessions with Chefs in Hyderabad and is completely appreciatable about it. I hope they keep this uproar rhythm and enlightening customers with gastronomic memories !!!
