I was here as part of an event hosted by the USDA ( US department of agriculture) and Scope Beverages.The moment you step inside you are greeted with the royal feel. Spacious interiors with really high ceilings, beautiful paintings and a pool view. Add to the that some amazing live music .It’s the perfect place to sip into some cocktails and relax.Coming to the cocktails these were some of the best cocktails I have tasted.The Beverages for the evening were Jack Daniels and Sky vodka and all the cocktails were prepared with either one.The best of the lot was a mocha based Jack Daniels cocktail and an exotic paan cocktail with skyy vodka.The food was good but not that great but it was a cocktail evening and I’m not complaining as the cocktails were outstanding. abthefoodie.wordpress.com

The attendants were courteous ,like how you can expect in a 5star property .Seating was not so comfortable ,individual preference may differ .Food was good but not yummmm
Generally, people go to a 5star hotel willing to pay thousands for bill and few hundreds as a tip expecting the best in class luxury,facilities, food and drinks but it turned out to be totally worse . Last Saturday, I felt like drinking some imported red wine and headed to ITC hotel.At the entrance,receptionist gave me two options Dublin pub or Marco polo bar. One of my friend told me about his experience of unclean seats in Dublin hence selected Marco. I requested for menu hoping for good variety of imported wine list. When I saw the menu , I was shocked to observe that there were only domestic wines(Sula), one italian wine la corte and nothing else. When I ordered for la corte,waiter said that it’s out of stock and he recommended me for Sula and then I got pissed off. He then had a conversation with other staff an said that he had one more italian wine and showed me the bottle. It was italian but was cheap. I had no other option but to order for the same. They charged Rs 1200/glass for cheap wine. I wanted to order some sea food hoping atleast they would have some good varieties. Waiter then confirms that best sea food available is south indian fish. Why the hell would I come here if I want to have south indian fish. By this time, I was deeply dissatisfied. On top of that AC cooling was so terrible that I was sweating and also one or two mosquitos were flying here and there. Overall disastrous star hotel experience which I have never experienced it so far. I will never visit this place again.
This is truly one of the dignified drinking places in the metropolis, where one can sit down and Think, or ponder over an idea, or talk to a friend and hear what he’s saying! It is a true retreat, whose existence almost justifies staying at the Kakatiya!
