sadar bazaar is full of street food options but tjis is really exciting . Pao bhaji and the papdi chaat in special is one of the best in Agra.
This place is in famously known as Chat galli. We had aloo tikki here.. it was amazing & different. I still remember the flavours.Must visit whenever in agra
Mouth wateringly delicious. After a disappointing trip to Sadar bazaar looking for good leather goods, we stumbled upon Sri Agarwal chat house. After contemplating for several minutes, looking at the hygiene in general, in sadar bazaar, we decided to try their Aloo Chaat. Its the best Aloo Tikki I’ve ever had so far. Crisp in the outside and soft on the insid and very beautifully spiced. We had it with just the spices sprinkled on top, with a dash of lemon juice. Must try and yes they do fry them in ghee.
This place being the Connaught place of agra is crowded with foodies. There’s a dedicated lane for chaat here called the Chaat Gali. There are two or three shops lined in the very corner of this lane. We tried from this shop. There’s no seating available so take away is recommended or you can stand there and enjoy Chaat with the hustle bustle of the crowd. I had Gol Gappe, Dahi Gujhiya and Aloo Chaat. Dahi Gujhiya is recommended. Thick and rich yoghurt with dense Vada of Dahi vada with sweet sonth chutney and roasted cumin makes it irresistible. Chaat is different in different part of our country so do not try to compare it with your hometown. This wasn’t bad either. I asked all my colleagues about the verdict and the average was 3.5. So 3.5 it is. A must try.
2nd shop in CHAT GALI.. Amazing chats all around the year .. Once in Agra be there and njoy all shops with delicacy each in no particular order .. Amazing food and envioirment
Ventured out to this chat outlet in Sadar Bazar in the evening. We went late after nine pm but the place was still active. Had gol gappa & aloo tikki. Review proper:PROSAwesome taste is an under statement.Actual crisp tikki in every bite. The tikki is also customized to your taste budsThe pani puri was also good though nothing out of the world but goodThe positive and good attitude of the vendor, ever smiling.CONSThe ambience has to be ignored with cattle on the streetThe place is worthy of spending a casual evening for snacks.
