Sakhawat is a tall standing example of Awadhi cuisine, the food at this place is garnished with lethal doses of affection. I have never had a sad meal at sakhawat. Being a regular at this place and the restaurant having shifting menu through the week has helped me gnaw almost everything the chef has made, also the only chef owned restaurant in town. The love with which the food is served will make you feel home every time. Sakhawat holds the best of everything. Their food is a reminder to people of Lucknow of the greatness of mughlai cuisine. The kebabs are delectably melt in your mouth kind, their mutton biriyani is an alternate kick on the yakhni biriyani of Lucknow. The fish just falls off the bone every single time: perfectly cooked. Every mutton preparation at sakhawat is off the bone and flavour bomb in your mouth. It is just amazing to taste the mutton recipes at this place, somehow the chef has learnt to keep the flavour of mutton intact while adding layers of spice and aromatic flavours. I have given it 4 starts just for the sole reason that there isint any decent seating space at the restaurant, and food of such quality must be eaten at an arms reach to the kitchen!You’re godsent to the Awadhi cuisine Godspeed!

Amazing is the word! If described in one line! Had ample of dishes from them and all were spectacular. Galoutis with parantha are a killer and one must not waste time at tunday but instead come here for delicious food! I highly recommend them!
