First of all, the menu displayed here in zomato is out of date and the prices read way too big numbers now.This small restaurant is near Assi ghat with a seating capacity of maximum 20 person at a time in a congested room, so, obviously not a place you go if not for a lunch/dinner.Coming to the service, the staffs are courteous but the service is horribly slow, they took more than a hour to serve 3 of us even when we were the only customers waiting.The food, we ordered crispy baby corn, veg noodles and fried rice. The baby corn was not at all crispy and tasted sweet, obviously not a kind you expect with all the nearby restaurants serving better. The fried rice tasted fine but the noodles, well, I’ll not be eating that here anytime soon. The quantity tho, was enough if the prices were a bit considering.
Visit this place only if you have a lot of free time.This place is one my favourite for non spicy homely food. And for this reason i visit it almost once every month.The sitting arrangement is spacious enough , the balcony seating can accomodate 4 people at a time. The staff is very friendly. The service very very slow.This is a good place for north indian food.The best thing about this place is the Veg Thali, it’s more that enough for one person , the taste is very homely and perfect. The raita is good , the daal is great, alloo jeera sabji is nice too.Do not visit this place for Chinese food.
A good place to hangout. The food and the costs are very nice. However, if you are in a hurry and cannot devote much time waiting for the food, i would suggest that you go somewhere else.
Food is like home. Soft tender roti and curries with ghar ka swaad. It is my usual place whenever I miss the home food and would recommend every hosteler to try it. It is a place where you would like to come again and again.

It’s simple and value-for-money. The staff is open to customising the dish according to your taste. Very accommodating of requests and they do understand your time pressures. Ordered food from here on a tight timeline when we had to board the train in less than an hour. They made a special effort to have the food delivered in time and it was delicious when we finally had it in the train. A simple khichree and chicken biryani, spices kept on the low as requested, neatly packed with plates and plastic cutlery. Grateful that they took care of the little things.
Service is slow but its worth waiting for. Quality is good and taste is awesome. Very cheap. Try crispy potato there and ask for it because it is not in the menu :p
