You can only be flabbergasted by a restaurant that serves pretty great sushi in Varanasi, of all places! They have a fairly wide Japanese menu and our sampling proved to be a decent experience. The sushi – with cucumber and avocado, was not bad at all. The haka noodles was a guilty pleasure. The ramen however, was a downer. The gravy was not to my liking (funny odour) and I’m almost certain they used Maggi for noodles.
The food was very good! The location is very convenient. If you are staying near the Burning Heart Ghat. The staff was super friendly. Sushi was good. It was nice to have reasonably priced sushi in India but don’t expect sushi like you would get in Japan, or even in Canada, where I am from. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.
