For people who like South Indian food but cannot wait much to get a seat this is the place to go. They have two floors so waiting time won’t be much. It’s not too crowded even on weekends. Must try out in their menu is Rava Masala Dosa and Chole Batura. Their cold coffee is also very nice compared to the pricing. Don’t expect too much but overall this restaurant provides the best food compared to their price.

Hot chocolate was ok for me. Milk was very light in consistency and I feel they had just put coco powder in it. Nothing like fancy places.Presentation ➡️ This is a very basic and old coffee house so they are typical with their presentation. Nothing magical.Ambiance ➡️ Neat and clean. One can peacefully have his/her food. They do accept cash and card as well as paytm. Service time is quick. They do have two storey place.Child-friendly ➡️ Yes, of course. Pocket-friendly. This is a perfect place for lunch during office hours and evening chai snacks.

For a student you won’t get a better place for lunch and dinner in such less price. I have been a regular visitor of this place during the end of the months when my pocket was really tight! I never tried starters I kept my orders simple. Tawa roti, Dal Fry , and Vegetable. You will get a feel of home at this place . The Dal is simple and really very good, In vegetables I have tried almost everything, Bhindi fry is very good , Aloo dum banarsi is good too , Kadhai paneer is the best among all the paneer dishes.Do not go for Chole and Chana masala! They taste half cooked!(I love this two so I tried them for 3 4 times and it was not satisfactory even once)The taste is good , but the vegetable and dal gets a bit oily, just mention it earlier to keep it low. The name The coffee house , but I would never suggest you to try out coffee it’s not good.And this place is obviously not the place you would go for dosa when just a minute away is The Kerela Cafe. I personally did not like the taste of sambhar and chutney . When it comes to the ambience of this place , it is quite big , two floors of sitting arrangements. The service is fast if their are not many customers. Uncle at the reception is quite welcoming . The waiters sometime may act a bit rude. But when it comes to how much you pay for all the food and services you won’t be be disappointed.P.S. No BHU discount.
