We’re visiting Agra and checked out cake D’or on a recommendation. We tried the Belgian Chocolate pastry and got it warmed in the microwave.It was a puddle of ganache .. super yum we had two when we had no intention of having another one.Great job!!!
The baker needs to enhance her courtesy more than anything, she caters to mostly the kitty party aunties and some same old group of people. She never attends (looks disinterested)and would rather prefer to scroll her phone most of the time ( happened thrice). The desserts are always either not available or stale.
I ordered a pineapple cake and it tasted so bad that I had to threw the entire cake in the dustbin. Moreover similar thing happened when I ordered a blueberry cheesecake at the shop.I feel extremely sad to see the state of such good bakery shops,charging hefty amount and serving bad quality on continuous basis.
The base of the cake was very soggy, kind of too wet. Wasn’t fluffy.
Good cafe spot. Cafe Mocha and Nuttela waffle were my picks. Tasted well. Wish they could have the waffle served hot, that enhances the overall taste. Credit card machine didn’t work at that time, thankfully had some cash around, so maybe worth carrying some cash in case it repeats again! Small place, quiet, so if that fits your peace of mind at the time to unwind with a cuppa coffee..this could be a try.
