Been there a few times with friends. Location is a bit of a hit and miss, 2nd floor of a mall – but it is right opposite the escalator. Ambience is lovely; it’s a cosy place, on the smaller side but well managed spaces. Lighting is as I like it – bright without being in your face. Some background music at an acceptable volume; the staff is courteous enough to adjust the volume as per request. Location and ambience: 4/5.The menu is a limited affair, a few sandwiches and varieties of coffee (hot and cold). They do offer some tea and other stuff, but this place looks like it was designed with only coffee in mind. The staff will take your order with reasonable speed, and you can see what goes on behind that counter – i.e. you know they have not dilly-dallied. For such a small space, they could have been chattier, but that’s nitpicking. They deliver your order quickly enough; 4.5/5 for service.The coffee itself is.. well, delightful. I have, by now, gone through their entire menu; and while I personally prefer their mocha I would suggest you find your own favourite. It is value for money I had not anticipated possible, and for that alone I visit this place again and again. The food is reasonable without being spectacular. 5/5 for the coffee – frankly, that is all I really care about, and normally coffee this good costs nearly twice as much. Sometimes, the overall rating depends also on the experience. The owner is an affable fellow – had some nice chats with him over coffee. Other times I just sit and read in peace, no questions asked. 5/5.
