As the name suggests it’s a Dhaba in the middle of the city. Well not exactly a Dhaba but it’s themed restaurant with the interiors and wall posters giving the feel of a Dhaba. They could have easily went for Dhaba style Charpai kind of seating arrangement but they went for the comfortable table chair and it’s good to cater the needs of all people as I’ve seen lots of family dining there. Coming to the food. Food is reasonably priced and quite good in taste specially all the main courses of chicken. Waiting time after orders are minimal and most importantly staff and owner are very courteous and keep checking on the tables after food is served. A very good and decent restaurant in this area for family and friends and must visit on my list when visiting Lucknow.
Very small quantity
Visited this place some 4 weeks back for lunch. The ambience of this place was quirky. Ordered Paneer butter masala and roti. The service was too slow while there r only 1 table of 4-5 person was occupied remaining were vacant. Food was Okish.Food quality – 3/5Quantity – 4/5Service – 3/5Ambience – 4/5
I had ordered my dinner from this restaurant today and I’m so disappointed. Never had it been that my father choose to sleep hungry than having food. I ordered dum biryani, which needs to have a flavour and taste. This biryani tasted like mutton fried rice. Roll was awful, couldn’t finish 1 roll and the bhuna ghosht was one of the worst I ever had. I believe on zomato ratings and then order food. But Maybe now I’ll have to reconsider before ordering anything.
Biryani Quality is not good
Kukku da dabba has a unique feel to the place and the food is pretty nice. Highly recommended is the kaleji
