Apart from Kebabs, Street Food, and of course the impeccable mehman-nawazi, the city of Tehzeeb is equally famous for its sophisticated and fine dining destinations…If you are in Lucknow and done with the enormous options of street food and want to spend some quality time over a celebratory lunch or dinner with family or friends then the multiple restaurant options inside the Hyatt Regency Lucknow would completely fit in your requirements…Among LukJin a vibrant restaurant that serves flavours from Thailand and China, and Rocca an all-day dining restaurant housing Indian and Italian cuisine, I chose the latter because nothing like a Buffet to experience a slice of what the Chef has to offer…For the varying price tag of Rs. 799 – Rs. 1200* the options were quite stellar. The unsatisfactory options of veg starters were very well balanced with the finest quality of main course. Paneer Kadhai, Chole Masala, and Hing Waali Dal spoke volumes about Chef’s culinary skills and I graciously skipped the Pasta’s and Pizzas from the live counter but couldn’t deny the Chilli Garlic Noodles due to its alluring aroma wafting from the food counter to my table where I was comfortably seated. The flaky paratha’s, a version of Missi Roti made me to swipe off the gravies with no inhibitions. ..The Dessert section was a sight to behold for eggetarians, but the eggless Chocolate Pastry was sufficient to put pure vegetarians like me to nirvana. Gooey, decadent, moist and dense chocolaty flavor that left a pleasant after-taste…The ambience is a reflection of Hyatt’s sophistication and is intricately done to host serious business meetings to casual catch ups. If you are lucky, just like me, you would end up running into a Celebrity staying in their property.
We went in for a family dinner and opted for a la carte. From the ambience to the service, to the food taste and quality etc., we enjoyed every bit of our time in ROCCA.We were obliged by the extreme professionalism and service of Subham who was in charge of our table. He was quite polite and generous enough in such a way that when we were waiting for our dishes to make way , he was quick to bring any of the dish to try out so that we were kept busy munching on the delicacies .The food taste and quality was quite authentic and was exuberating in desi flavor.Again repeating my words, we enjoyed every bit of our time and will definately make a visit again in my next future Lucknow trip.
