VM is a relatively new café, which seems to have become very popular. So I reached there at around 4pm on a weekday, to find that the indoor section was packed to capacity. Most of the diners appeared to be students or young professionals like me working on their laptops, with a sprinkling of families. A few chairs were available in the outdoor section, but it was hot and dusty. At our request, three chairs were shifted indoors and kept around an odd table (if they had not done this, we would not have eaten there and this review would not have been written!)The décor follows the industrial style (with elements like steel trunks, black filing cabinets and packing cases) which has become popular for high end cafes in recent years. Ducts and pipes are left exposed and the walls are painted black. Framed posters of Hollywood classics are displayed on the walls. The menu is designed to look like a vintage newspaper, complete with news stories and advertisements. Some old-fashioned bulbs with long filaments add to the atmosphere but – strangely – they are connected to pipes adorned with gate valves (perhaps the wiring is located inside the pipes).Coming to the food, there is a wide variety of cuisines to choose fromNon-Veg Mezze Platter(Humus, Tzatziki,Baba Ganoush,Chicken ,Pickels & Pita Bread)At Vintage Machine,Lucknow.Taste-3/5Cost-₹290Evenings made perfect with these thick creamy •Caramel Classic• and •Oreo Frappeatto• shakes at Vintage Machine, Lucknow.Cost-₹140 to ₹150 on a averageTaste- 4.5/5.0All the food was fresh and delicious. The helpings were quite substantial. The service was prompt, despite the crowd. The prices turned out be be quite reasonableOn the whole, an excellent choice for a mid-day break or a relaxed evening meal, without burning a hole in one’s wallet.
This place was packed with people on the day I went.Firstly had to wait a lot and shout for the waiter thrice or four times before anyone came. They were just running everywhereOrdered a cappuccino which was good but the froth was less so rating it 4/5The cooler was good and came in a nice jar so rating it 4.5/5Then the chocolate coffee shake was heavenly. No issues with it. It was 5/5Then had the jamaican jerk chicken burger and the spiced cajun chicken burger. They had amazing taste and their plating style was unique.I give both the burgers 4/5Good place to visit.
Just amazed with this place. It’s my favorite spot for coffee.I love how soothing the decors & interiors are.& the cosy corners are just so cute. They have wide variety of coffee & japnese Matcha latte is my favorite now.
Vintage machine is one of the oldest cafe in Lucknow.my bad that it took me so long to visit them.Firstly regarding the ambience, its great with some nice comfortable seating area .Now i had a cappuccino there and a chicken and ham pizza.Cappuccino was great.Chicken and ham pizza was amazing.
While my first visit to this place was not the most memorable one but on asking about a decent pasta place in the city, I was again suggested to visit Vintage Machine by a friend who frequents this place. On my friend’s insistence went back to this place. Ordered one Aglio Olio Spaghetti with zucchini and bell peppers and Kafe Hazelnut. Surprisingly, this their pasta was nothing less than a delight. the spaghetti was tossed in a perfectly balanced amalgamation of olive oil, garlic, herbs and exotic vegetables. Kafe Hazelnut has that bold flavour of Hazelnut that comes with the goodness of coffee. Perhaps it was not a good day for them when I last visited and I happen to have judged the place a little too soon. Overall, this is the first place in rhe city which has remarkably satisfied my pasta cravings. So, brownie points to that!__________________Had heard tons about this place as the whole seems to be talking about Vintage Machine kicking off the cafe scene in the city. Decided to visit for a decent cup of coffee. Seeing Vintage Mocha on their menu got me excited because I thought it must be something unique considering ‘Vintage’ attached to it. I even cared to confirm if it will have chocolate and was told that it will have. Sadly their Vintage Mocha was nothing but a disappointment. It was just ordinary coffee that you can get at any coffee place and had no chocolate at all. All it tasted like some ordinary cappucino and that too a dull one that you would not visit the second time for. Also, who takes 40 MINUTES for a dull coffee? We had ordered two Vintage Mocha and they took nearly 40-45 minutes to bring to our table. They surely need to improve their service and make actual coffee if they claim coffee as their expertise
This place has such great ambience and lovely decor. The moment you enter, happiness hits you. It’s a perfect place for hanging out or a lunch date and pretty light on the pocket too. The food is absolutely amazing and the quantity was also good!Plus their staff is super chill!
