My favourite Rasgulla (or like Bengali’s say-Rosogolla). Ghosh is one of the oldest & finest Bengali sweets shop of Kanpur. They have a wide variety of Sandesh & different types of rasgullas (like Orange & strawberry rasgullas).Not just their sweets, but their Namkeens are also pretty good. Really like the roasted kajus.Place is a bit small, but they have sufficient place to sit.
Ghosh Mishtaan is famous in Kanpur mainly for his Bengali sweets. Multi colored rasgullas, Sandesh, rasmalai, chum chum and quite a few other delicacies. However my favourite from this place is not anything sweet but his savoury dalmoth – a mixture of fine spicy sev (nylon sev), deep fried sabut masoor dhal, a generous dose of heeng, and some mgaz seeds for crunch and of course a gorgeous dose of cashewnuts. Now how can anything made up of these ingredeints taste anything less than perfect? on.fb.me
