Rude staff and owner. Don’t know how to behave with the customer. When I visited this place there was one old man who was very rude and doesn’t have etiquette to talk to the customer.I know they are very old in this business but with time they need to know some basic manners.
Ghosh has been a very well reputed shop in Kanpur from a very long time. Most of the sweets we get there are Bengali and they taste amazing. Their efforts for bringing the Bengali culture have definitely paid off, the sweets that you will eat here are so different, or shall I say Khoob Bhalo! Some of my favourite dishes are-: 1. Cham Cham2. Rasgulla3. Gurh (Jaggery) ki cchene ka cham cham4. Cchene ki mithai 5. Mishti Dahi 6. Besan ke laddu 7. Gulab Jamun8. Potato chips(home made)
Being legendary requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Its hard to be number one. Ghosh misthan is serving kanpur since 1940 with there elaborate and luscious mithai’s. ANd since then they have managed to maintained their quality and consistency in the flavours. I owe this one to my dad as he returned from kanpur with this bundle of sweet joy. Sondesh the very well known in kanpur. One bite and My eyes got flooded with memories of childhood and our times with my extended family. This is the remark of being a legend.
