If you are staying in Hotel Taj Resorts when you are in Agra then having dinner on the rooftop with live Sitar and Tabla is a must thing to do. I was quite lucky that the weather there was pleasant and not hot and humid so i really enjoyed my experience on the rooftop except for the food.Talking about the service, it takes 30-40 min for them to present your food on the table, so yeah the service is slow. We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka and normally its creamy and tender but it was not, tasted bland. Veg Seekh Kebab on the other hand were good, the stuffing inside and the really soft texture, they were really tasty. In main course we ordered Dal Makhani whith breads and again it lacked that bit of a spicy touch which gives a crunch to the dish. If you don’t want to go out for dinner and you are too lazy then this place is good for you but better places are around which offers better food.

In regards to hotel Taj Resort, I found every staff ranging from the reception to the house keeping department very polite and friendly. The in house restaurant serves delicious food. The mutton Biriyani was spiced as per our liking and I do highly recommend it, so also the Shashi Tukda. No journey would be complete without a good lip smacking food. The trip blended well with a clean and spacious room, tasty food and friendly faces. Do stay at TAJ RESORT- when you plan your TAJMAHAL Trip.
