They have hotel and restaurant both in same building.I was staying in same hotel so visited restaurant for dinner. This place is famous for south indian food in agra so it was quite crowded. Food was quite expensive but taste make it worth of money. They have good interiors and ambiance.

Nearing a century old, Dasaprakash is India’s oldest south Indian restaurant and over time they have expanded into multicuisine as well!Dasaprakash is not there in Mumbai and hence it was on my wishlist when I visited Agra on a family trip. They have a hotel as well, above the restaurant. The service was good. It was empty when we went for lunch but the food was fresh. While touring Delhi, we sometimes missed the Mumbai flavours in the food especially the Punjabi vegetables. But here finally we got that taste and we were on cloud nine! We ordered more portions of the same Vegetable as the taste was so good, super fingerlicking! We ordered the following:-1) Paneer khurchan2) Subz bahar3) Boondi raita4) Naan, roti. At most places the dahi of the Boondi raita is so sour. But here it was perfect. Just how it should be. The Paneer Khurchan is one of the best Punjabi vegetables I have had till date! Superb texture and spices spot on!The pricing is very reasonable too. Overall a must visit whenever you come across a Dasaprakash!

TLDR: The place isn’t living up to its former glory anymore!I have been a long time patron of the restaurant and would have vouched for the overall gastronomic experience of the place without any second thoughts. However it seems to me that over time their quality of service and food has deteriorated. My visits in recent years have seemed a little off if not outright bad. However the restraunt’s failings was brought into my full attention by my recent visit to the establishment. The onion rawa dosas which I ordered was crispy but a little too chewy. The service was also not as smooth given that the place was not as busy.To top it all off was the chocolate sundae! The sundae had no semblence of even having looked at a chocolate let alone having any such taste. When I complained about the same, they handed me some more syrup which was just plain sugar syrup ( more like jaggery syrup) coloured brown!Overall I hope that the restauraunt returns to its former glory of exemplary food and service. Untill then, I’m going to avoid that left turn into the restaurant complex for some time to come!
