We stayed at Taj Vilas and gorged on food at the Spice valley . Firstly , they take too much time to prepare your order Secondly , even after consuming extra time to prepare the order they then serve cold food . I don’t know what exactly where they doing in the kitchen . I was extremely disappointed with his place . Tho only plus point is there ambience is pretty good.
Well, I was on a Family Trip/Vacation at Agra. I stayed at The Taj Vilas Hotel at Fatehabad Road, Opposite to TDI Mall. The Restaurant at The Taj Vilas is named as Spice Valley Restaurant. Trust me, whenever you will go for the Breakfast, almost all the Tables you will see will be occupied. Such is the rush at the Restaurant. Breakfast is served in Buffet Pattern and Manner. So you will see and witness wide Variety of Dishes Starting from Idli/Sambhar/Chutney to Mini Uttapams, Baked Beans to Brown Bread and White Breads, then also Chicken Sausages, to Grilled Fish and further on in Pure Indian Stuff you will get Poori Bhaaji or Paratha Subzi. Grilled Fish and Boiled Eggs will always be available and then also there will be Eggs to Order – get yourself treated to an Fluffy Omelette or may be Egg Bhurji/Scrambled Eggs, or else best is the Sunny Side Up. So my Rating and Review for the Spice Valley Restaurant of the Taj Vilas Hotel will be 5.0/5.
We stayed at teh Taj Vilas and naturally dined at the Spice Valley. It’s a winderful little space with a sumptuous buffet dinner that has many basic options to choose from. What is particularly wonderful is that since one of the persons with us is allergic to avian protein, they happily replaced the chicken on out table and added a sull portion of lamb rogan josh. Every morsel of that rogan josh was delightful and all compliments to the chef! As for the buffet, it was basic but well made. The desserts though, can be improved upon. Anyways, at the relatively inexpensive prices, this places id worth even for the locals, I guess!
