Weekend and light showered breezy evening it was. We decided to treat ourselves with some sumptuous chaat. We rounded up on this place, since it has been our favourite since forever!I remember as a child frequenting this place. The seating and arrangement was much much better then. I guess due to shift of base, it has gotten compact now.So we ordered:- Dahi Batashe- Aloo Tikki- Samosa Chatni (2)- Paani Puri (2)- Palak ChaatThough the space has changed, but the quality, taste, flavor and aroma is hands down all the same! Fresh, yummy, hot and crunchy. A delight!- Paani Puri is the best I have had in the city! Like seriously I am not even exaggerating. The puris are soft yet crunchy. There’s ample stuffing of matar, with tangy and spicy paani to go with it. You cannot just stop at one!- Dahi Batashe again were crispy, soft and firm. Filling of matar and topped with khatti chutney and sweet curd, to the brim. Each one was a burst in the mouth yummilicious delight. Indeed, the best I have had.- Aloo Tikki was a single layer of aloo patty, heated and fried in light oil, crushed with sukhi puri, topped with chopped onions, chillies and coriander on a layer of sweet curd and tangy chutney. Aaah, melt in mouth treat.- Samosa, was a warm dish, served with tangy and hot chutney, over crisp papdi and the filling laden with aloo and peas.- Palak Chaat was a surprise package. Palak pakodi in large sizes, crisp and warm at the base with matar mashed with chutneys on top. Laden with sweet chutney, tangy chutney, sweet curd, crisp sukhi puri, chopped onions and coriander. A novel and delicious dish! The staff was very courteous and helping. They got us an extra chair and even modified our food items according to our taste. It’s amazing how flavors and taste have the unique power to make you nostalgic and transport you back in time. I guess Shivam is my most favorite place for chaat in the city and will always be!Keep up the good work, you guys!

This place has been the same since the 90s.A good place for a light lunch.Shivam special kulfi faluda is the best in Lucknow, also has a great variety of sweet. The pricing is reasonable.Hygiene is something they should improve.

This place will never fail to please your taste buds! I love their matar chat, aloo chat, golgappe, coffee and lassi! They prepare Matar Chat in two different ways, Dahi Matar Chat and Nimbu Masala Chat. To be candid, I like their Dahi Matar the most.

Must try – matar chaat, gol guppe.. I can bet you won’t find a better matar chaat in the entire city, a city that is full of chaats. Matar tikki comes in two variations – with curd, tamarind chutney and with lemon. I prefer lemon as it does not affect the chaat taste intensely. Go ahead. N njy.

I have been having food here since I can’t even remember when. The food here is worth the price. The desi flavours and spices are a delight. It is ideal for a family dinner. Please taste the paneer dishes and the veg jalfrezi.
