I have visited this place 3times in the last 1month. The food tastes delicious and reminds me of home. It’s a must visit for Bengalis living in Lucknow away from home. We tried aloo posto, shukto, luchi, chicken kosha, bhaat, shorshe maach, bhapa dim and mishti doi.
Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food.And also thanks to give us the homely taste of Bengali special dishes.
The worst Bengali food i have ever eaten.I had ordered Bengali Pulao,Bhapa Bhetki,Macher Jhaal and each of thse dishes tasted pathetic.The Pulao rice was of low quality.The fish was not that fresh in Macher Jhaal af what to tell about the Bhetki.Do you guys even know what a bhapa bhetki is? And just putting sliced chillies in every gravy.And the bhetki fish what can I tell.Thank God I didn’t order from this place when my friends from Kolkata visited me.It would have been so shameful for me.You have no idea and sense what Bengali food is guys.And being a Bengali I would not suggest none of the Bengali people to eat their food and even for Non Bengalis you better ring up your Bengali friends and eat at their place.And these dishes which I ordered were their Bestseller.Who are you fooling guys?The worst bengali food ever I have eaten even a road side stall in Kolkata would cook better food than you and charge one tenth the price you charged.Do not go to this place.
If you want to taste authentic bengali foods, it is a must visit. Quality is very good and hygiene is maintained in a cosy atmosphere with a very humble owner.
