This place is serving authentic Bengali Cuisine which includes so many variety of gravies & snacks. The Interiors are simple & cosy with nice friendly staff.Tried some of the dishes from Starters as well as Main Course like -Kosha Chicken (One of the best dish, highly Recommended)Kosha Mutton (same in taste as Kosha Chicken)Chollaar Daal with Loochi (Chana daal Fried with whole spices, bit sweet in taste).Kolkata styled Biryani with boiled eggs and potato in it tasted more amazing with Gravy of Kosha Chicken. Also had Mishti Doi – Bengali Dessert served in Kulhad.

Hey Lucknowites!Craving for Bengali food? Thinking for the best place to cherish the Bengali cuisine? No need to take load. We are here to bust your bubble of trouble, a beautiful n cosy place to give you a home like feel not only by the hospitality but because of their flavoursome and tasty dishes. A place in the shed of Zainiss Hospital infront of China Bazar, Gomti Nagar is a perfect place to give a satisfying ending to your cravings. Christened as TT’s JHOL JHAAL, there’s no jhol jhaal as such in this place, just kidding!Variety of dishes to choose from, we were literally confused at first. But after some moment, when we encountered the food, the rush of saliva in the mouth quadrupled, really. The food was as fresh as the sun’s first ray at 5.47 AM, to plate things simply, let’s explore the dishes:Starting from some desi stress buster drinks, Shikanji, lemonade whatever you call it, doesn’t matter! The chilled drink with all heavenly ingredients, in perfect proportions to make it a bliss.Main course had: (NV)1. FISH MUSTARD, basically this was boneless fish fritters steamed in yellow mustard gravy with green chillies. It was one of the best fish fritters we’d had in recent times.2. KOSHA MANGSHO MUTTON, the dish contained mutton chops which were slowly cooked, therefore enhancing taste to the fullest. The pieces were cooked to perfection and the combination of gravy and pieces made it a must try dish. A MUST TRY3. KOSHA CHICKEN, it has a similar way cooking. The unleashing flavours of the dish will make your taste buds go gaga over it.Main course (V)1. ALOO POSHTO, smashed boiled potatoes cooked with gram flour, and other spices, bright yellow in texture tasted very nice. You’ll love it!2. DHOKOAR DAALNA, a dish similar to Gatte ki sabzi(only in appearance) made by soaking the chana daal, roasted and a cake is made from its paste. Then, cut into pieces and simmered into onion gravy.3. CHOLLAR DAAL WITH FRESH DICED COCONUT, not being a daal person, I can say, I enjoyed it. This chana daal embraced flavours of wholesome spices like cardamom, fried red chillies and cumin seeds.4. MISHTI DOI, was again the best one served in an earthen pot, the sweet curd sooths the food pipe.5. LOOCHI, Bengali style puri, made of all-purpose flour. Everything tasted so well because of this loochi. A MUST TRY.The service was also very nice and fast, they are really polite.Food Rating: 5/5Service Rating: 5/5Ambiance Rating: 4/5
