Staying at MJ Residence is a ritual whenever we visit Dehradun, I must say an underrated but one the best Hotel and Restaurant in Vicinity. From service to staff and the food this is one place where satisfaction is guaranteed. The stay here comes with a complementary Breakfast and their breakfast spread is commendable. The place do take a lot of pain in serving a healthy and balanced breakfast. Daliya, Parantha, Eggs of your choice, Fresh Fruits, Sandwiches and many more things are served for you to have a king like breakfast. The buffet breakfast menu is changed every day so the surprise factor is there. We also had dinner here, apart from breakfast rest is Al-a-cart affair here. The menu consist of North Indian, Chinese and Continental. What we order was Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Tomato soup which were just perfect. Next we ordered Kadai Paneer and Dal Fry, unlike other place here the quantity of oil and spices were preety balanced. Chana Masala was also ordered by us along with Jeera Rice and Butter Naan. All vegetarian but had a scrumptious meal. I am a hardcore non vegetarian but vegetarian food here gets my recommendation. In a nutshell MJ is a place in Dehradun which is great in every aspect.
If you are going here,you got to try malai kofta. Its one thing you would have never eaten ever. Great place to hang out and parking space is enough. Love to go there again n again
Perhaps an underrated restaurant in the city. The food and service is great. The Tandoori dishes are the best I have tasted in Dehradun. The garden extension adds a green touch to the hotel. My full points on aspects of food, service and ambience. Cheers!
