A cute little joint adjacent to udupi cafe. As the name suggests, the place seem to be quite famous for its momos. The popularity can be noticed as the tables are pretty occupied whether you visit there during the day time or in the evening. Here follows brief review about everything:Seating Area: Outside seating comprising of 3 tables. This small seating arrangement is what makes the outlet endearing. Though eating there in harsh chilly winters is quite tough but then, steamy momos, soups and tea are there to provide you with the required warmth.Steamed veg momos: The outer green coloured covering is a little thick and greasy. Stuffing is a bit mushy with nuttiness in between the bites. To me, these are pretty basic. Being a Momo lover, there is a peculiar type of momos that I like. They doesn’t match that level at all.Corn & cheese momos: Again, basic! Your liking depends on whether you’re a cheese lover or not.Steamed paneer momos: The stuffing is quite good with a lot of paneer in there.Hot and crispy momos: The outer covering of the normal Momo is made crispy with coating of bread and cornflakes by deep frying. To me these customizations don’t do justice to the traditional taste of something. Those who are craving some fried food can surely give them a try!Red chutney: A bit more spicy than supposed to be but otherwise it’s nice.Tea: Highly disappointing. Firstly, I feel the quantity is less for the charged price. And even after telling them several times to keep the sugar low, they make it sugary.Around the time of its inception, the outlet used to serve complimentary soup along with the momos. The momos used to taste very nice with that soup. Overall it’s a nice place to chill for some time with a small group of friends, over momos.
Totally in love with Momos there.I tried veg momos and paneer fried momos and both were amazing.Paneer momos actually had total paneer stuffing unlike other places.Veg momos were also good. The filling was fresh , the momos were soft.Prices are very reasonable.Overall must must try for momos lovers
