This is a small eatery situated in a secluded place almost always frequented by people who like to grab something to eat while chugging down a couple of beers or alcohol in the comfort of their vehicle. I went to this place to check out the brouhaha around it and found it almost dissapointing. For snacks, I ordered Shami Kebab amd Garlic Chicken. They were good enough. The kebabs were quite soft and mushy and I liked how they almost melted in my mouth. The garlic chicken was also a 3.5/5. For the main course we ordered one full chicken biryani, daal makhani and rumali rotis. There was only one person serving and preparing and he took almost an hour to serve the order. When the biryani finally came through, the rice was wet with the steam of the cooker in which it was cooked. The chicken was bland. There is no serving of gravey alongside biryani and I had to pay extra for it. The portion of the biryani was pretty small considering the price of ₹350. I can safely say that this was the worst biryani I have ever had the misfortune to have in my life. But still, it was the Daal Makhani which stole all the contempt. It was TERRIBLE!! Daal boiled and a cube of butter put in it. No masala, no salt, nothing. We left half of it even when we were still hungry. It was soo bad. The rotis were soft.In conclusion, the prices do not justify the taste and quality at all. Tip: Go here just for the snacks. The main course will take ages to come and will not be worth it.

The best mughlai food in town. You must try the biryani and seekh kebab accompanied by some of the best roomali roti I have ever had. The kebabs are to die for and if you are a fan of some traditional handi style mutton biryani, you should not miss this little restaurant on Rajpur Road. The hospitality is unparalleled and the ambience is just perfect. Absolutely recommend a meal if you are in Dehradun! Lastly, it’s not going to burn a hole in your wallet as it is priced super-reasonably. 🙂

Excellent kebabs . It’s a tried and tested place since last 11 years. Same delicious taste everyone. The preparations are always fresh and mouth watering. The ambience is nice and calm away from the bustling Mussoorie road.
