Tried this place on whim and opted for takeaway @ dinner time and was pleasantly surprised with the dishes. We tried chicken kali Mirch, butter chicken, mutton roganjosh, mix veg, veg and non vegetarian momos and assorted breads to go along. It’s best to approach the local palate without any comparisons and maybe that’s why we were able to enjoy it more. If I had to recommend the choicest dishes, I’d say chicken kali Mirch and rustic mutton roganjosh(more like curry) are better opted. The packaging was great too! Oh, also while waiting, we sampled tandoori paneer tikka and it was fantastic! Tandoori is their speciality, seems like it and I couldn’t agree more. All in all, a must visit place.
Below average experience at this place called Dilli Darbar. The location is perfect and bang on Mall Road but quality speaks something else, they don’t use fresh chicken, it’s hard and dry from inside. We tried Afghani Chicken which was very dry and not juicy at all, the portion was average, price was okayish. I would not try their food again.
