Ambiance: Excellent Food: GoodCost: CheapService: Average We visited this place for the first time.We ordered a pizza, ravioli and pancake.The pizza was huge and filling.Ravioli was a disappointment and the pancake was excellent.Loved the taste and I am certainly going to visit this place again to have pancakes.The ambiance is better than any other place in that area.I can spend every evening there.So peaceful and so calm. Right next to the Ganges, the whole experience was mind blowing.The service was slow and the staff looked dull and low on energy.
Freedom cafe is an absolute best choice if you wanna have a good view of river Ganga. It has a big seating capacity and was big enough to accommodate my whole group unlike other cafes in the same area. The food was not great. The mexican food didn’t taste like mexican at all and the pizza we ordered wAs not good as well. There was nothing special about the food except the pancakes we ordered, we imagined some two or three pancakes on our table but they served us with a big crepe instead. It tasted too good so I won’t review anything negative about the pancakes/crepes. The place is easy on your pockets and ordering a good amount of food won’t spoil your budget.
My trip to Rishikesh is incomolete if I’m not visiting this restaurant, been to this place 4-5 times and still can’t get enough of it. It offers a great river side view and their sitting arrangement compliments that. There is nothing extraordinary about their food but the view makes up for everything.
