Highly unwelcoming. Very disappointed with the host. The venue is undoubtedly very creative but the attitude of the owner was extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend such a place if you are looking for a pleasurable out. There are several other cafe in the same lane (ganges side) which happily serve you awesome food.
The cafe is very close to the ganges is has an amazing view.The theme is hippie and you can feel the vibe as there are majorly loosely dressed foreigners sitting around the place The menu has a variety of cuisines but we decided to stick to indianWe ordered forPaneer pakore- this was my favourite Masala chai- it’s above average Dal tarka- the dal was majorly raw. Even after telling this to the server, there was nothing much done about itKadhai paneer- it tasted fine but it was too red to believe. I am supposing they have added food colour Mushroom noodles- this was decent Sweet lemon soda- it was everything but sweet In a nutshell, you can visit this place for the view but not for real eating.
I went there yesterday. As far as it seemed to me, they were only letting foreigners inside. When I went there , they told me that there’s no place despite there being place which was visible. After this, I saw many other Indians being rejected entry like this. During this time, I saw a few white ppl entering the cafe and being seated. It was disappointing to see that these ppl use Indian land to run a business but don’t allow Indians and entertain only foreigners.
They give preferential treatment if you’re NOT Indian. Great view and ambience. Has the underground vibe. But overall hugely disappointed with their service and behaviour
