This brand has some good reputation over years in different outlets of Kolkata. This branch is newly opened in Chinar Park New Town area making them available for order online from Salt Lake Sec V. So on this Sunday when I saw this place in delivery restaurant I couldn’t resist myself from ordering.Afghani Tikka Chicken Biryani :———————————————————-I expected this Biryani to be super spicy with small boneless Chicken Tikka pieces. But it came out fully opposite. Biryani was delivered in foil pack that looked very cheap but eco friendly.Biryani rice was very dry, looked less on spices that tasted very light too. One small piece of fried potato was present. Surprisingly a boiled egg was present too. Chicken piece was of medium size but not really well cooked. It was bit hard to chew and with no spices at all. Quantity was bit less than comes in normal container.The Biryani of Biryani Company wasn’t really impressive. Their Tikka Biryani seemed similar to normal one while compromising on taste. I think much better options are available for similar price in this area.

Now the taste as I wrote is very unique while retaining the authentic taste of the Mughals. And for health conscious eaters let me tell you it is less oily and is cooked with good quality spices. Coming to my experience ,when they plated the sumptuous and steaming hot biriyani in front of me I was swayed away by its aroma and appearance .And nonetheless the taste is praise worthy with rice well cooked and meat melts in the mouth.This time I tried Chicken Biriyani and Firni .Planning to try laccha paratha and chicken chap next time.And I suggest all of you to try the food once and I assure you will come back for more. I ordered one chicken biryani from this restaurant and that is the most worst biryani. Never order from this restaurant. The rice was not cooked properly and I had to put it into the bin.
One of the worst biryani I had in my life till date.i don’t know for what they are asking for such price. Two so so sized chicken, an egg and a potato is okay but the rice!! It doesn’t have any taste. I think they forgot salt as well. A lot or biryani aroma and oil and tasteless biryani. Even the chicken pieces were dry. Total waste of money.
They should hire someone to taste the food before they serve it to the customers. Most tasteless biryani I ever had. Even the salt was absent
I ordered biriyani. Test is very good. I like the lite food. This biriyani was super lite and testy. Chicken is test good and the chicken pice is very good size for one person.
