The bao and naan might be overpriced but the and chicken handi dish we ordered was mind-blowing to say the least. That coupled with the most beautiful rooftop decorations, it might be the perfect place to have dinner or even throw a party!

The city of Joy is finally blessed with another mesmerizing rooftop lounge cum restaurant, where you can enjoy some quality time with your loved ones, while savouring some delectable food or hookah and overlooking the beautiful city-scape.Glook the Sky Lounge is located in 5th floor of The Terminus building, New Town.As soon as you open the gates you will be stunned by the bewitching ambience. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements, rooftop cabanas, special arrangements for private parties or corporate meetings.Glook is also equiped with an excellent bar section. Although, they are not yet serving alcohol, but you can surely opt for some refreshing mocktails. We started off with the Virgin sangria. Glook has perfectly replicated the popular cocktail without using alcohol in it. Interestingly, the flavour profile was quite similar! Also tried two other mocktails – Melon Ginger on the rocks, which mainly featured fresh watermelon juice with a punch of ginger. And Apple slider, where apple was the star of the show!Glook is a multicuisine restaurant, serving north Indian, Chinese and continental delcacies. Not only the mouth watering flavours, but the unique presentation of each dish will make your heart sway!We tried a few signature dishes of Glook. The Thai spring roll was crunchy on the outside and packed with a delcious veg stuffing inside. It was served with a sweet and sour red chutney which compliment the dish very well. Then we tried the Spicy Corn and Brocolli Dimsum. The name of the dish is self explanatory, it was served with three types of spicy chutneys. The dimsums were plump and flavourful. We tried a very unique dish named – Karari Manda. Karari ofcourse stands for crispy and Manda means rumali roti ( very thin roti). It looks like a huge papad of the shape of a bowl. It was drizzled with a spicy oil from the sides and a dallop of spicy chutney at the centre. It was an absolute crunchy delight! For the mains, we started with the Mutton Biriyani paired with Murgh Alaband. The presentation of the biriyani was top-notch. It had ample amount of sucellent mutton pieces and was served with raita, salad and papad.Murgh Alaband was a perfectly thick, creamy north indian gravy. It was served in a bowl placed over coal, which gave it the amazing smokey flavour. We paired it with the mutton biriyani. Also tried the, Tandoori Pomfret. The whole pomfrets were drenched in spicy marinade and grilled to perfection in the tandoor. The fish was extremely soft and flacky. We ended our meal with the scrumptious Chinese Chopseuy. Crunchy fried noodles beneath a bed of thick gravy filled with exotic vegetables. We were totally in love with the food and the presentation. The price is on the higher side but the stunning ambience and the hospitable staffs makes this place worth a try. Try visiting Glook for a fancy date night, and am sure you won’t regret it.
