Cafe B&B is located at Rajarhat New Town just 5 minutes walking distance from New Town bus stand which is very easy to locate. This is a newly opened cafe which serves Chinese and few continental food also. Mainly it is a takeaway joint but they have also air conditioned sitting arrangement for 10-12 peoples. We ordered the followings-Starters:1. Smoked Chicken2. Chicken Pan Fried Momo (Recommended)Main Course:1. Cantonese Noodles Gravy2. Triple Schezwan Rice3. Hunan Chicken4. Dragon ChickenPrices are also very pocket friendly and food is also very good in quality & quantity.
Cafe b and b is a newly opened cafe near Newtown bus stand . It’s a small yet clean and decorated place where staffs are so friendly..The place serves a lot of variations like we had ordered :Starter :Chicken pan fried Momo (Momo’s filled with a lot of chicken stuffing and was tangy and fast)Smoky chicken ( there was a Smoky flavor from the chicken and I liked it very much )Main course :Hunan chicken (it was in a perfect balance of spicyness and tanginess )Dragon chicken ( It was also good as usual)Triple schezwan rice ( this is something very unique where the rice and the noodles both were present and I personally liked it very much )Cantonese style noodles (it’s basically gravy noodles cooked in Cantonese style ).Mocktails :Virgin mojito ( it was little lemony and I liked the flavour actuallyMango crush (it’s a mango juice where you can find mango pulps also in the glass)Two awesome things I have noticed while visiting their cafe..1. They provide 10% discount to the servicemen of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Air Force Personnel on showing valid ID proof.2. They are associated with The Robin Hood Army. They invite the less fortunate children every month and treat them at their café with good care. The service was quite quick and food was also good.I would highly recommend this place.
➡️ Location :- It is near Newtown Bus Terminus. Walking distance is 6 mins from the Bus Terminus. It is located in a residential area and in a calm environment.Ambiance / Interior :- The ambiance was great enough to enjoy your food. It is basically not that big but can accommodate for than 7 people at a time.Food :- They serves soups, continental foods, starter and main course dishes , beverages. The food they served here are mostly chinese dishes.Dishes we tried :-Starters ⬇️⬇️Smoked Chicken :-Boneless chicken grilled and then tossed in different kind of sauces and mixed with herbs and onion, capsicum etc. It was a great dish for starter. It was little bit spicy.⭐RATING :- 9/10.Chicken Pan Fried Momo :-Now this dish is a common one to all. But here I found it little bit different and much tastier than others. Although it was little bit spicy and tangy. But I liked the taste. The chicken was well stuffed in the momos and the gravy was nicely mixed with the momos.⭐ RATING :- 8.5/ 10.Main Course:-Cantonese Noodles :-This gravy noodles dish was lipsmacking. It was not so spicy but the noodles were well cooked and the gravy was nicely mixed with the vegetables and the noodles.⭐ RATING :- 7/10.Triple Schezwan Rice :-This was really an amazing dish I had. It was a little bit on spicer side. Noodles and rice was perfectly minxed with the sauce. They added some finely chopped veggies ( onion, capsicum, cabbage etc ) which elevates the taste of the dish.⭐ Rating :- 8/10➡️ Hunan Chicken :-Hunan chicken was totally classic . It went really well with the Triple Scezwan Rice. It was not so spicy yet tasty. The chicken pieces were large enough and the gravy was superb.⭐ Rating :- 7.5/10.Dragon Chicken :-This spicy chicken gravy dish was the star of the show. The chicken pieces were large in size and the veggies and spices were well mixed with the chicken. It was a super dish with the gravy noodles.⭐ RATING :- 8/10.Drinks: We had Virjin Mojito and Mango crush. Both the drinks were good in taste. I found the virjin mojito a little bit strong. Mango crush was a good sweet drink I had there.Overall review :- It is basically a small café serving chinese and continental dishes at new town, kolkata. They have zomato and swiggy delivery as well. The food was tasty, no doubt. The quantity and quality of the food was good too. The price was affordable.⭐ Overall Rating :- 8 /10.Important Note :-There are two points that can be highlighted for Café B & B.1. They provide 10% discount to the servicemen of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Air Force Personnel on showing valid ID proof.2. They are associated with The Robin Hood Army. They invite the less fortunate children every month and treat them at their café with good care.➡️➡️ It is a nice place for hangout with friends while have some lipsmacking chinese foods. If you are in New town area have a visit to experience some good chinese foods.
Hunger can litteraly attack you, anywhere and anytime. This thing offen happens with me. So on a work i went to Newtown area and because of thus hunger attack i had to stop here for a moment to fill in myself. But ill never regret the decision. So this place is located in the Newtown Action Area 1A, Kolkata just 2mins walk from New Town bust stop. It is perfectly located in Google maps so u can blindly follow it with no worries.Talking about the ambience of this place, its totally casual. Its one of the best stop to have a talk with your friends or family and enjoy the evening in or a best stop to go in a budget date.So coming on the budget, the prices of the dishes is seriously appropriate with tge quantity they provide. 1 plate for 2 people will be enough to fill in.Now, i ate triple schezwan rice with dragon chicken for the lunch there. Being a spice lover i really liked it. The rice contains noodles, chop suey and rice which makes it really delicious. And with the dragon chicken the spice levels were on the limit. I enjoyed these dishes with a glass of virgin mojito which is a bit tangy but the after taste was pretty good.Alltogether a nice experience of lunch there and totally satisfied with their hospitality.
Today while I was in that area for certain work.. I was literally hungry and suddenly i just spot this place and ended up trying it out.You can find this place easily, using either google maps or it is located near newtown bus stop!Dishes I had:Starters:1. Smoked Chicken2. Chicken Pan Fried MomoMain Course:1. Cantonese Noodles2. Triple Schezwan Rice3. Hunan Chicken4. Dragon ChickenDrinks:Mango CrushVirgin MojitoAs information, this joint started recently but the chef do have some absolute idea about spices.. I’d tell you to visit this place atleast once.. U will love it!
A cafe associated with The Robin Hood Army, helping the underprivileged children to experience the joy of eating out and trying delicious cuisines, is a cafe that deserves a visit. Hence, visiting Cafe B&B was on my wishlist for long especially because of their charitable association. Location: Located at a walking distance of 2 minutes from New Town Bus Stand, Cafe B&B has the advantage of attracting customers availing both the public and private transport with sufficient parking space on the street as of now. With the IT Hub situated close by, Cafe B&B is surely at an advantageous location. Rating: 5/5 Ambience: Cafe B&B offers a cosy ambience to the visitors. The aesthetically designed walls with the perfect classic clock send off an elegant vibe. No matter how small the space is, the cute interiors accommodating around 8 – 10 people at a go is further enhanced by the aroma of heavenly dishes coming from their open kitchen. Rating: 4/5Staff: The staff is a delight to interact with. The chef will personally hear you out to curate the dish that will suit your taste buds the best. Feel free to inform him whether you like your food spicy or not so that you get the best experience. Rating: 5/5Food: At such a pocket-friendly price, I had never thought of having such authentic Chinese at this cafe. We had the following dishes:-A. Starters: 1. Smoked Chicken: The 8 juicy chicken pieces were grilled and tossed with onions, capsicums, and bell peppers in Asian spices. The spice was lingering on my tastebud and this is one of the best starters I had tasted in a while. Rating: 5/52. Chicken Pan Fried Momo: This dish had 6 good-sized momos with sufficient chicken stuffing. The sauce was tangy and spicy enough to satisfy my spicy cravings. You can ask the chef to get it done with mild spices if you cannot tolerate heavy spices. Rating: 5/5B. Main Course:3. Cantonese Style Noodle: I am not the person who likes gravy noodles. However, I could not help myself from having half the plate alone. The spices were mild and the use of exotic vegetables (baby corn, carrot, bell pepper, capsicum, onion, etc.) enhanced the flavour of the dish. As per quantity, it was more than enough for a person with a heavy appetite. Rating: 5/54. Triple Schezwan Rice: This rice had three main staples – crispy fried noodles, rice, and cut noodles. The burning sensation prevalent in any schezwan dish was quite prominent. I loved this but you need to ask them to lower down the spice level if your children would like to enjoy this delicacy. Rating: 4.5/55. Hunan Chicken: This mildly flavoured Chinese side with 6 succulent pieces of chicken was truly heavenly. The crunchiness of the bell pepper against the silky smooth texture of the gravy added perfection to the dish. Rating: 5/56. Dragon Chicken: As per the name of this dish, the fiery essence was present. The strong flavours of the red gravy were well-infused in the 6 chunks of light batter-fried chicken. The quality of the chicken was so good that I could not help myself from overeating. Rating: 5/5 C. Drinks:1. Mango Crush: With mango pulp being the primary ingredient, this mocktail was truly refreshing in the summer afternoon. Rating: 4/52. Virgin Mojito: Finally I found a cafe that serves mojito with soda as the base and not Sprite! It was truly a relief to have my favourite style of mojito! Rating: 5/5If you consider my overall opinion, I would say that the food quality is too good as per the pricing. If you can spend INR 300+ for a hearty meal for two people, I am sure you will become a regular customer after your first visit. And, if you are a serviceman of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, or Indian Air Force, an additional 10% discount will be extended to you as gratitude. During my next visit, I will try out the other dishes from both the Chinese and Continental sections. I highly recommend Cafe B&B. Disclaimer: I was invited by the Restaurant Management for food tasting.#starwordsindia #foodblogging #cafe #autheticchinese
I ordered for drums of heaven not satisfied with its preparation. it was very spicy n also chicken pieces were very small. may be their other items are good but not this.good point is that prices are relatively reasonable.
