I’ve had cakes at vishal pastry before and those were really good. I wouldn’t like to comment about their savory items as those aren’t up to the mark. I prefer value for price.

Ordered a marble choco birthday cake. It costs Rs.450/- per pound. I needed 1.5lb, at first they were not ready to prepare 1.5lb & told me I’ve to order 2lb. But finally, I could manage to order 1.5lb for Rs.675/-. The cake was ok. I should say pretty ordinary for a 1.5lb marble cake for Rs.675/-. Their full chocolate truffle cake is Rs.600/- per pound which I found quite high at this place compared to some other famous cakeries in Kolkata or nearby. The attendants are very unprofessional, I requested for an empty small box along with my order but they refused telling me that they have shortages of boxes though I could see roughly 100 boxes in front of my eyes. Overall the experience was not that good as it was earlier. I have been loving this cakery since its establishment in this area and have been here so many times but this time I have to tell I’m truly disappointed. I think the quality of cake compared to the price is not worth at all. There are so many better options than this definitely. Well, I would love to come again and continue my relationship with this cakery in future, hope for the best..
The pastries available there taste better than any other pastries shops near by, items are always fresh and deliciousMoving to some spicy items it feels like every item has the same taste only the shape and bread are different overall was a great experience
