A few days ago I have visited this restaurant Raju Sweets, Kaikhali for the 100th time since the year of 2014 January to 30th November 2019. I have tried their Gulab Jamun which is my favorite of all time since the year of 2004 After that I have tried their Barfi and than at last I have tried their bestest sweet of all time that is Cham Cham and Laddoo Total I paid it in cash Rs. 100/- and I have enjoyed myself very much with their all kind of sweets. And it’s open from 7:00am – 9:00pm. Thank you so much Raju Sweets for making my day incredible.
Ordered a box full of flavoured rasgullas, but to utter disappointment they gave stale ones. Didn’t like much. The store has a good collection of Bengali sweets.
I usually do purchase sweets or snacks while I go home from my office, taste wise it’s not too much mouthwatering, it’s so so type sweet shop. The location is in completely connective area. Just at the crossing of Kaikhali. They have a lot of various types of sweets and snacks there in a pocket pinch. For immediate hunger killing it’s a good choice.
While on my way home, few years back, I was met with an old friend who wanted me to have some sweets. Not being a fond of sweets, I ignored but he starred to take my response in an adverse manner. While, I was in a hurry home, and at the same time, I did not felt like disappointing him and thus fond this shop right behind the place I met him.Located on VIP Road on the junction of Kaikhali, it a small confectionery shop, serving some savouries too.My friend pestered me to try some sweets and thus reluctantly tried a sandesh and ending my ordeal with a singhara.Keeping his heart, I didn’t felt too guilty in wasting my food buds.A visit to be avoided.
It is a sweet shop just beside kaikhali more. You can also have puri and sabji in the morning. Each puri will cost you ₹4. They sell variety of sweets and snacks also.
Cheap sweets. But fresh always. Samosas are fine. Gulab jamuns are good. Several Bengali dishes are available. Dal kachori is a cheap but popular on the go breakfast.
