It was my first time at Westin and stakes were obviously quite high about this Multicuisine restaurant. Starting from the staffs who were extremely courteous and hospitality was amazing. Coming to the main course – it was delicious and desserts were delectable and variety was huge. Interiors were impressive as expected. Starters could have been more in terms of variety but overall a great experience to dine at Westin.
Pros1. The ambience is good. The plush indoors, glass facades facing the sprawling outskirts of Rajarhat, brightly lit setup makes you feel jubilant.2. Food, specially the dessert and the starters are good. I didn’t like the main course that much.3. No annoying service charge. With tax(18% because it’s a luxury hotel), the amount comes to 1650+18%= 1947. Cute figure. I think they did some back calculation.Cons1.The service is a bit laidback. They didn’t refill water on their own, weren’t clearing out the table, didn’t provide any dessert spoon, redeemed two dineout vouchers instead of one albeit by mistake, etc.2. The cost is higher than ITC Royal Bengal or JW Marriott, and both have better buffet spread.
