Uncovered a new MISHTIR JAGAH (sweet shop) in Kolkata’s sweetest place. Rabdi was fabulous don’t even want to understand how they work to shape and cut in strips. I mean your mind says it’s artificial but once tasted heart says it’s OK we even inhale polluted air at least it’s nirvana from the time you taste it till it reaches the tummy.One divine realisation what we get in Delhi is actually malnutrition version of this. I mean you taste this and you feel was the one I ate in Delhi really sweet.Bought one more mithai which was equally fabulous forgot the name.My staple medicine bought curd from here and .Ind it you need to tell him khata dahi else default dahi is sweet. Although to me it’s tasted little sweet but that’s the love this city of joy gives you.
Had Kachori and Jalebi from this place. It remains quite crowded in the morning.Kachori was hot and crispy with a nice aloo curry. Not a big fan of Kachoris, though. Jalebis, too, were hot and crunchy. Recommended!
Probably, the biggest sweet shop in Baguihati, which also serves the best sweets in cheap rates. It is situated in 1 or 2 mins walk from VIP road Baguihati. The Misti Doi they serve is just too good along with the Gulab Jamun. If they had a proper seating arrangement, I would have given them a better rating. But still, this place is a must visit.
Most renowned Misti shop in Baguiati area. Visited here so many times for kochuri, singara, rosogolla, gulab jamun. All the items are so tasty.
One of the oldest and finest among the area.A huge variety of sweets available which is generally not very common. Located at Banguiati area and popular one indeed to the localities. Rasamalai and Rabri are the special mentions as a recommendation. 🙂
